What a waste of Capabilities?

It was so dark and silent.

---splash---

All of a sudden, the sound of water entered Kendor's ears, henceforth waking her in a bright environment. She found herself lying near a lake in the middle of a plain hovering island with a blue-leafed tree at the centre of the lake. She became quite confused.

"Roar!!", a sudden scream took her by surprise. She gazed upwards, "Gasp!"

Because she witnessed the sight of countless islands hovering in between endless skies and black monsters flying here and there. She realized, "Are all these monsters, master's shadow souls?!"

"Not bad!", said an anonymous figure from behind. In shock, she turned only to find out that it was me. I was sitting right next to her with my left leg stretched forward.

"Phew, you scared me, master!", she sighed and pointed her feather index onto my left shoulder, "But what's that creature on your shoulder?!"

As she said, a little monster was on my shoulder. It had the shape of a snake with five pairs of eyes. My mount then remembered Scidra and made a guess, "Don't tell me!"

I replied, "Yep, he is who you think he is!"

She felt annoyed, "Huh, stupid snake!"

I said, "Stop cursing him. He's now a part of my soul dimension!"

She responded, "So earlier, we fought inside your soul dimension?!"

I exclaimed, "Yes!"

She commented, "Weird, how did it remain unbroken?!"

I corrected her, "Li'l bird, you might be a celestial upholding authority over reality. But I have the authority to manipulate reality. Strengthening the edges of that battling space was no big deal for me!"

"Then is this another universe of your soul dimension?!", she asked. I responded, "Absolutely!"

She gave a dumbfounded look. I didn't get her. She commented, "Master, you're wasting too much of your capabilities!"

I countered with a question, "How so?!", and she interpreted, "A vast universe is said to be beautiful due to its endless view of the starry black skies and the many life forms found in different corners. However, I can only see monsters here, meaning the human, elf, demon and other races are also separated into different universes. When I turn on my senses, I see a universe filled with lesser power-level creatures. And when I look below, another universe of higher-level beings like your Raymen and Hashan and Ikaris come to my vision. The sides are filled with some other universes.

Instead of a black and starry night view, the backgrounds are filled with bright skies alongside mist and clouds. And these floating islands too. You overdid too much of your design. No wonder, the infinite void experienced a slow time pace. Instead of creating so many small universes with the same infrastructure, you should make one big space with countless worlds and races in each of them, like how you see in reality. That will give an even sturdier foundation for enhancing your soul dimension!!"

"...!", I fell into deep thoughts after hearing her. I raised my right hand and placed it in between the view that was in front of me.

[She's not wrong. This is reality we're talking about. Instead of accepting it, I fantasized whatever came to mind, just like my previous incarnation. Not to mention how I copied master's terrain infrastructure. All these universes to uphold the meaningless things were wrong. Instead of giving one perfect meaning, I created dozens of things with little meaning to them.

So…, WHAT IF I WERE TO COMBINE AND MAGNIFY THOSE LITTLE MEANINGFUL THINGS TO ATTAIN A BIG MEANING?]

That's when Kendor spouted, "Master, you're leaking your sovereignty!"

"Oh, pardon my excitement!", I emphasized with a tranquil composure. She and Scidra kept looking at me. I said, "I'll do that at a later time. Who knows if it overtimes the infinite void or not?!"

She agreed, "Yeah, the terrain might undergo another two million years of time skip!!"

[... SHOULD I BEAT HER TO A PULP?]

Her skin quaked after sensing my aura raging higher. Therefore, she tried changing the subject, "Well, that's that. But what was the fighting prowess you displayed earlier, master? I remember you calling 'Sense of Martiality' and then 'First Form: Basic Combat Sense'. Unlike the countless mortals and Former Master Zord, your techniques seemed formless and baseless yet precise and counterfeiting!"

I took a few breaths. She kept looking at me. I then opened my mouth, "All my life, I overcame many hardships through a lot of effort. Never have I ever felt things going easy. That's what made me who I am.

But after becoming a grand law, inheritor of an origin entity, things started moving way too smoothly. I thought I was becoming overly complacent unlike myself.

Whenever I tried fighting, my moves implied more than what I intended to. My face might seem expressionless during those occasions. But deep down, I could feel my inner self smirking all the time 'cause of being an overpowered monster. If I let him have his way, then I might end up letting my emotions get the best of me.

After that, I'll become a total mess. In order to avoid such chaos, I've decided to come up with a solution to maintain myself pure!"

Kendor interrupted, "And that was your 'Sense of Martiality'. Unlike mortals who like naming things the fancy way or the cringing way, you made it sound normal. That in itself proves, how calm and pure you are!"

I smiled at her response. She then attempted, "But, after saying 'Sense of Martiality', you mentioned a form with numbering. Don't tell me there's more to that!"

I exclaimed, "Yeah, after the 'First Form' which is 'Basic Combat Sense', there are two more forms namely 'Second Form: Common Combat Sense' and then 'Third Form: Extreme Combat Sense'. If I were to receive further insights into my prowess, another form might get added to the list!!"

She commented, "... You're calm but still yet to become pure!"

I looked the other way amid chuckling and scratching my head. Scidra became puzzled whereas Kendor sighed. I then spoke, "Anyway, I ended the fight with just basic combat sense. Meaning, I could've killed you, had I used further forms!"

She then blinked her eyes, "Now that you mention it, I wonder how you ended the explosions within one go!!"

With a smile, I raised my left index finger.

---spark---

Black and violet sparkles spawned on the tip of the index. Kendor shook after witnessing it.

---fwoosh---

The sparkles then turned into darkened yellow flames. She asked, "D-did you borrow my power to lit up your flames?!"

I interpreted, "Yeah, after I saw you spinning in circles between the explosions, I charged inwards. To my surprise, you were smiling even after being defeated. I found it funny. That's when your aura started resonating with mine. After giving a warm embrace, I made the resonating aura explode at once. But I didn't expect the explosion to even rip off our celestial forms!"

She said, "No wonder, we were back to our tiny selves!"

I stood up, "Okay, Scidra. Back to your post!"

---flip---

Right after hearing my order, Scidra, who was on my shoulder, teleported to the tree that was at the centre of the lake. I then implied a finger snap.

---snap---fwoosh---

The snap summoned a black and yellow through which I and Kendor walked out. The next instant, we were back in the infinite void, on the roof of the building, sitting over the edge of the rooftop. I stayed silent, looking over the entire turf from above. Kendor stared at me, wondering what to say. I told her, "You don't need to try so hard to bring up a conversation. Just leave that task to your impulse!"

She started, "I've pinpointed whatever flaws I found in you. Now it's your turn to review mine!"

";;;;...!", I didn't have any words to say to her but tried my best to praise her, "Well, since the concept of celestials is still new to me, I don't have much to say. But your combat prowess was so extraordinary that I trembled in excitement just to see what more you've got up your sleeves. Unfortunately, I used my combat trait and made you lose consciousness. Had I not given it my all and held back, I could've seen more of your experience which you accumulated through trillions of years!!"

She responded, "You don't need to comfort me, master. But I do get the point that I displayed a certain level of incompetence. And that's what made me fall before even showing my all. Even so, I could hardly think of a way to win against you, since you use sovereignty. Although, you didn't use any of your authorities and used self-made traits alone!!"

"Thanks for the appraisal!", I exclaimed. She shifted her gaze to the void. I began flexing. That's when she asked, "So, how was the meeting with your master? The origin of dark, I mean!!"

I chuckled, "Awkward in the beginning, shocking in between and surprising at the end!"

";;;.. Can you please tell me what happened in detail?!", Kendor requested. I exuded a long sigh, "Phew… Fine, I'll tell you!", and explained to her the situation for half an hour.

She responded, "Going to the afterlife right away from your return? I can tell what's happening. The origin entities must've prepared something 'Ominous' for you to deal with. Otherwise, they'd never say to prepare right at the start!!"

I commented, "Woah, Kendor. You seem to understand them better than me!"

She replied, "Of course, the origin entities and us celestials have been living for way too long. They know all of us and we too know them. That's how acquainted we are!!"

I conversed, "Enough with the boasting. Presently, I'm not in the mood to hold a summit just to say I'll be leaving for the afterlife!"

She asked, "Okay, so I should split into many and tell everyone about your departure, is that it?!"

While pinching her cheek, I stated, "So clever!"

And so, the news of me departing to the afterlife reached all my underlings and followers. Andro, Gremoria, Azmou, Ashrath and Bayliel were the first people to jump on me in tears. I tolerated their childishness and gave everyone a warm embrace.
