"Yes, see, you're a dumbass, hence proved." Valente chuckled lightly getting a repetitive poking on his cheeks until she spoke up, "But I read in a book that some true-blooded alphas have their own strong smell that they sometimes can't smell their mate and some are defected-" 

"Are you calling my brother defected?" Valente looked at her. 

"No. I am just saying what I read in the book!" 

"No, because there might be something wrong with him." He said. "I remember our father scolding him about something, something about how he is not doing well in sensing things." 

Suni nodded and looked towards Kaida, noticing she was uncomfortable. 

"Anyway," She changed the topic. "Valente should shave. His slight beard is annoying and it pokes me in the cheek."

"What?!" The alpha glared at his mate. "I am sure it pokes you less than you poke my cheek!" 

Everyone laughed. "As Olivia said, they are the walking entertainment." Mia commented.
