"How are you?" he asked, startled.

"It was just a bad feeling. Maybe the food..." Alanna said and then remembered that she had prepared food for him and probably the food was still in the pack house, as she hadn't seen it around the buffet table.

"Do you want to leave?" He asked.

"Yes, but you can stay. After all, you are the Alpha. Catherine volunteered to go with me." The girl nodded as everyone looked at her.

"I take them, Faolán. Finish talking to the guests. That was the main party, but we will have more festivities throughout the week. They will understand if you need to leave early today." Zander said and Faolán nodded in agreement.
