Chapter 65

Dante stepped in front of Catherine, blocking Zander's view. The latter immediately growled and bared his teeth. He walked steadily and stopped in front of Dante.

"Get out of the way!" He said. Zander was controlling himself not to jump on that male's neck, for having the nerve to want to get between him and his female.

"With a thousand devils I'm leaving! She is my daughter!" Dante said. He looked at Faolán. "Control your Beta!"

"But if she's his 'mate'..." Faolán said and shrugged.

"First of all, she is my daughter!"

"Oh, Dad, get out of the way!" Catherine spoke and turned around. When Dante tried to hold her, Zander pushed him away. Catherine was in Zander's arms, looking up at him, almost hearts visible in her eyes. Zander and Dante growled at each other.

"He's nothing but a Beta! You have Alpha blood and you should marry one!"
