The pain that radiated from Alanna's neck to the rest of her body was absolutely excruciating. But she couldn't scream. Okay, so she had her answer: werewolves have a negative effect on vampires. 

Incredibly, despite the excruciating pain, Alanna didn't stop being aroused. It was a completely paradoxical sensation. Faolán increased his pace. The pain began to give way to something different. She felt Faolán. Not just his skin. She felt what he felt, intensely. The pleasure, the love, the desire to be with her forever, without restrictions.

Then everything changed. Alanna saw Aillard, smiling at her. The green eyes, as clear as emeralds in the sun. His hair was short, his beard close to his face. Aillard's jaw was slightly less marked than Faolán's. Those few years of difference between them made a difference in the maturation of their traits. Alanna loved them both.
