Chapter 19

Alanna was still in the room with Faolán, when Zander knocked on the door and stuck his head inside.

"May I come in?" He asked.

"Yes, sure." Alanna said, turning off her smartphone screen.

"I brought you a change of clothes. And I'll show you one of the rooms so you can shower and change." He said, handing her a bag.

"Oh, thanks." She smiled weakly. "Mr. Williams, I have a little problem and I'm going to have to go back to Colorado anyway. But I'll be back tomorrow morning with a suitcase and I'll be able to stay a few more days." She said seriously.

"Faolán won't like it." He thought out loud.

"Unfortunately, Mr Quinn has no say in the matter. I have a life, Mr Williams, and a business to run. My attention is needed and, unfortunately, I can't solve everything through my phone."
