Chapter 146

The party was quiky prepared for them. The celebration would be fenomenal, or so the King said so. 

Eislyn was helping Osiris and Lucien saw, from a distance, how they both were interacting. He didn't need to ask Osiris if that was the girl. It was pretty obvious. He saw Faolán and Alanna, Zander and Catherine and it hit him: he wanted that for him as well! 

"It seems that this party is going to be THE party, your Majesty." Bauman said and Lucien looked behind his shoulder.

"Ah, I hope so." Lucien answered, with a smile. 

"I'm sorry to ask, Your Majesty, but I can see you don't seem to be very happy. May I know the reason why, if it is not too impolite or above my station."

Lucien looked down and smiled, but a weak and sad one. 

"Thank you for your concern, Alpha Bauman, but I think I'm just lonely." 

"Lonely?" Bauman asked and frowned. Then, realization hit him when he looked around them. "Ah, I believe I understand, Your Grace."
