"I'm nervous." Alanna said, rubbing her hands while she was pacing back and forth inside the room. "What happens if the King decides that we are guilty?" 

"He will ask for my head, yours, Zander's, Catherine's and other high rank members. He will take control of our pack lands. Will kill anyone that tries to fight against it. And that is it." Faolán answered, calmly. 

"And our son?" 

"I don't know. Normally, the kid would be send away as a rogue. Or killed. Since Weylyn is a different creature, he would probably be killed."

Alanna looked at Faolán, who was looking at his nails. 

"You seem very relaxed. May I know why?" She asked, going to sit on the bed. 

"Because I am confident. We did nothing wrong in this war. The trail is about it." He answered. "The only thing they can try to do is say our child is a danger and shit. But then, the King will not kill the other pack members. It will be just you, me and the baby. We can handle them."
