Mesmerizing eyes

"I told you not to follow me," Cristian said, sighing as he dropped to one knee while the cute white fox elegantly walked toward him as it swung its tail. 

The corners of her irises were golden while the other parts looked like a replica of a mesmerizing nebula, yet what was more alarming was it was inside a fox's eyes!

'What kind of beast are you?' he thought and stared at the fox which stopped before him and raised its furry head.

"I am not giving you another cake." He firmly declared, expecting a fierce battle to resist its cuteness, but the fox abruptly leaped to his knee and made its way to his broad shoulders, where it made a comfortable home.

She was smart and knew survival was bleak if she stayed alone, especially now when she could slowly unlock her mother's memories.

'Attitude,' Cristian mused inwardly. His lips curled as he stood up, took the fox from his shoulders, and dropped it on the ground.
