Chapter 108: A Drunken Confession

(3rd Person: POV)

As Gaul and Luniore sat at the table they had selected to have their conversation, an awkward silence filled the air between them.

Neither of them moved to speak.

Which only made the awkwardness that much worse.

'Dammit! Say something you idiot!' Gaul internally screamed.

He then took a deep breathe before speaking.

"That uniform looks really cute on you." Gaul spoke.

Then immediately after he did so he slapped a hand over his mouth. A bit shocked at the words that had just come out of his mouth.

But it was too late to take them back.

Hearing Gaul's compliment Luniore got a light blush on her face.

It's not like male, and some female, customers didn't compliment her. But with Gaul it was slightly different, given their brief sexual encounter.

"Thank you." Luniore managed to say. After the blush on her face calm down.

"It's no big deal." Gaul retorted. "So, how have you been doing since the last time we saw each other?"

"Good." Luniore said. "I started working here and Mamma Mia is great." She explained

Though she left out all the details of how she ended up working at the Hostess of Fertility in the first place.

She and another new waitress Chloe had been hired by the Bruno Trading Company to take out a rival group.

Both of them were growing tired of assassin jobs, so they both agreed to take the request. But both made the stipulation it would be their last job ever.

The member of the Trading Company who met with both of them agreed to this.

Thus Chloe and Luniore set about destroying the rival organization.

Only to realize just how powerful said organization was.

Both failed the mission, as such the Bruno Trading Company began targeting them.

Forcing both girls to go on the run.

Then by sheer coincidence they met each other and learned the Bruno Trading Company was after them both. So they decided to work together to avoid their common enemy.

But one day both girls ended up getting caught in a trap set up the company, and ended up critically wounded.

Then the two of them just so happened to meet Syr.

Thus they were brought to the Hostess of Fertility, and the rest of the story events happened pretty much exactly like in the light novel, Episode of Ryuu.

Mama Mia defeated the Bruno Trading Company singlehandedly and Chloe and Luniore joined the Hostess of Fertility permanently.

Gaul nodded at Luniore's words. "Great, I'm glad for you. So, would you like to go out on a date with me?" He bluntly asked.

When Luniore heard Gaul's question she went beet red in the face.

"What are you saying all of a sudden?" Luniore asked

"Ah, sorry, sorry. I'm not trying to come off as a creep or anything, it's just. Well I think I might like you and want to get to know you a bit better." Gaul explained. Getting a small blush of his own. "Ever since we shared that night together I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. Since you're totally my type."

As Gaul started speaking his true feelings without a filter, the blush on Luniore's face only got deeper and deeper.

If there were people in the pub right now witnessing the current scene she would've definitely passed out from embarrassment already.

"So yeah, would you go on a date with me?" Gaul asked.

"I...I...I mean..." Luniore stuttered.

She couldn't form a complete sentence, given Gaul just basically confessed to her.

It's not like she hadn't received confessions before, but again with Gaul for some reason it was slightly different.

Luniore has yet to realize she has some sort of feelings for Gaul as well.

As she continued to stutter and try to find her footing, three pairs of eyes were looking at the two of them from the hallway.

Belonging to Syr, Anya, and Chloe.

"Nya, unfair." Chloe whined. "For Luniore to have such a cute guy like that after her."

"Right. I want a boy to chase me like that as well nya." Anya said.

"And it looks like Luniore really like him as well." Syr mused. "Fufu, I wonder if she's alrady sampled the beast in his pants as well?"

Syr was right on the money with her statement, even if she didn't know it.

Five minutes passed before Luniore stopped stuttering.

After she did so she took a moment to think about Gaul's request.

'Well I don't hate him. No, I think I might actually like him a bit. He seems like an honest guy.' She thought. 'Not to mention he's part of the Athena familia, who work to keep order in the city. But with what I've done I don't think...'

"Luniore, are you done chatting with your boyfriend yet?"

The question came from Syr, who walked over to the table the two were sitting at . A mischievous smile on her face.

Hearing her question both Gaul and Luniore got massive blushes on their faces.

"Boyfriend!" Luniore shouted.

"I'm not!" Gaul shouted.

"Oh, but you want to be don't you Mr. Gaul?" Syr asked.

"I mean... Gaul trailed off. His ears twitching and his tail wagging. As well as the blush on his face getting deeper. "Yes." He squeaked out.

"Syr, stop it!" Luniore cried out in utter embarrassment.

If Syr was teasing her any other time it would've been fine. But right now she couldn't deal with it in the slightest.

"Luniore, no need to get upset. After all, Mr. Gaul wants to be your boyfriend and you obviously like him so why not get together already and start making some lion person babies." Syr said.

"Babies!" Luniore cried.

"It's too early!" Gaul shouted.

As the two got even more embarrassed Syr giggled, her mischievous grin getting wider as she did so.

Seeing this both Anya and Chloe made a mental note to never have a conservation with a boy they liked around Syr.

"You know what I'll just go." Gaul suddenly spoke up. "You don't have to give me an answer right now Luniore. Take your time and think about it. I'll see you later." He quickly said.

He then got up to leave, but before he did Luniore spoke again.

"Ok. Let's go on a date." She said.

"Eh?" Gaul questioned. Stopping in his tracks as he did so.

"Yes. Let's go on a date." Luniore repeated.

She wanted to move forward from her past as an assassin and this was a way to do so. Since she liked Gaul she might as well give him a chance and see where it goes.

"A-alright." Gaul said. "Thank you. Well then, good night." He told her.

Gaul then looked at Syr. "You as well. And the girls spying on us." He said.

Shooting his gaze in the direction Chloe and Anya were hiding.

But the two of them didn't care in the slightest.

Once Gaul was done saying his goodbye's he left the Hostess and started on his way back to the Owl House.

A stupid on his face.

Since Luniore agreed to go out with him.

"Yes, she said yes." Gaul spoke.

He couldn't wait to tell everyone about this. His sister, Morax, and Samira.

"Wait, Samira." Gaul suddenly spoke.

He then stopped in his tracks and started sweating bullets.

When asking Luniore for the date he completely forgot to mention the white-haired amazon.

"Things will be fine. It'll all be fine." Gaul told himself.

Even though he didn't really believe it at the moment.

"I need to talk to Morax immediately." Gaul said.

Since Morax was the only person he knew in a successful relationship with multiple women, and that's what Gaul wanted.

He wanted both Luniore and Samira to be his.

Making that resolve in his heart he continued on his way home.

Hoping he could make his dream a reality.

When Morax learned of Gaul's intentions he would cry tears of joy.

Since it means his friend had finally become his true apprentice in the ways of building a harem.

A task Morax would more than willing to help him out with.

Since he is a master of making them.
