Chapter 29: My magic

Celeste POV

After talking to Oliver last night, I realized that I am a selfish person. This whole time since my birthday, I’ve been thinking about myself and what I am going through. I didn’t take time to think about those close to me.

I roll out of bed and head to the shower, I need to meet up with Oliver. I quickly wash up and grab something to eat. After grabbing a bite to eat, I decide to go find Oliver.

I step outside, the sun is peeking over the trees and the air has a nice chill to it. I take a deep breath letting the cool breeze brush through my hair. I step into the grass, I feel the morning dew brush against the skin on my legs.

“Celeste!” I turn around and spot Oliver. He was coming out of the woods. I run up to him.

“Good morning, Oliver!” I say to him.

I can’t lie to myself. I do feel a bit awkward being around him. Hearing him say that he loves me, I don’t know how to feel about that yet. But the worst thing I could do right now is push him away.
