Chapter 2:The tragedy

One night, as Ellie was watching a particularly brutal fight, she saw something that she would never forget. One of the demons, a massive creature with razor-sharp claws and teeth, had been fighting for what seemed like hours. He was covered in blood and sweat, his eyes wild with rage.

But as the fight went on, it became clear that something was wrong. The demon's movements became slower and more sluggish, and he seemed to be losing his strength. Ellie could see the fear in his eyes, and she knew that something terrible was about to happen.

And then, it did. In a sudden burst of movement, the demon lunged at his opponent, his claws slashing through the air. But his attack was too slow, too weak. His opponent dodged easily, and then struck back with a blow that sent the demon crashing to the ground.

Ellie watched in horror as the demon lay there, gasping for breath. She could see the life draining from his eyes, and she knew that he was dying. And then, in a final act of desperation, the demon did something that no one had ever seen before.

He reached out with a clawed hand and touched his opponent's face, and as he did, his body erupted in flames. Ellie watched in stunned silence as the demon burned to ash before her eyes, his last act of defiance a terrible and tragic one.

For weeks after the incident, Ellie couldn't get the image of the burning demon out of her head. She couldn't shake the feeling that there was something terribly wrong with the world that she had been exploring, something dark and dangerous that she had never fully understood.

And yet, even as she struggled with her own doubts and fears, Ellie knew that she could not turn away from the world below. There was too much at stake, too much to be learned, and too many.
