Chapter 1:The world below

Ellie had always known that there was more to the world than what was visible on the surface. As a child, she had heard stories of the dark and dangerous places that existed underground, and she had always been drawn to them. It wasn't until she was older that she realized that these stories were true, and that there was a whole world below the one that she knew.

But despite her reluctance to participate in the fights, Ellie had found herself drawn into the world of the dueling demons. She had become a regular at the underground arenas, watching the battles from the shadows and studying the creatures that fought there.

Over time, she had come to know many of the fighters, both demonic and human. She had seen their triumphs and their defeats, their struggles and their pain. And she had come to understand that the demons that fought in the arenas were not all that different from the humans that watched them.
