Mel's Crazy Idea

This morning, she's promised to meet Hiro, her assistant whom she appoints as the MT Group CEO. She believes in him; she considers him like a real brother.

Hiro once told her that she was a sort of Goddess of Help for his family. Because Mel has helped Hiro's family resolve clan conflicts where his parents were kidnapped and nearly killed. Since then, he has tried to repay Mel's kindness by devoting himself to Mel's dreams and becoming Mel's assistant.

Hiro has been assisting Mel since she attended high school in M country. He helps Mel a lot in her business and personal affairs. Without Hiro, Mel would not have made it to this point, making MT Group a fast-growing company in this country.

Hiro is gifted, particularly in business. He comes from a wealthy family in his country, Japan. His parents had wanted him to continue the family business, helping his brother. But when Hiro explained his dreams, his parents immediately supported his decision.

And he is still faithfully serving as a personal assistant, and now he has become CEO at MT Group.

Mel wants her identity as the Owner of the MT Group to be secret, on a handful knows. People closest to her and people she trusted the most. All daily and routine matters of MT Group are handled directly by Hiro.

In the Company, people know Mel as the developer and person behind Intelligent Technology. Only Hiro and essential people in management know Mel's true identity as Owner.

Now it's 10 am, and Mel is ready to go.

It was freezing outside, as she has expected. She left Empire Apartment wearing thick clothes. She's only walked towards the meeting place as her Apartment is only a short distance to MT Group's Head Office. The office, which is under construction, is in the same business district as her Apartment. Even on the same road, the main road. This area is an élite neighborhood; only upper classes people own or rent apartments around here.

After 5 minutes of walking in the cold air, she's finally arrived in front of the nearly finished Building. She looked at the Building before her with a sparkling gaze. At the same time, in her heart, she feels proud of herself.

In the past, when she left this country, she suffered a lot. Her heart broke, and she seemed to have no future. But after a few years, everything changed; she was no longer a fragile child; she's now a strong independent woman.

Now she has a powerful and precise dream. She wants to fulfill her dream of becoming a tough and independent woman who can stand up without the help of her father, Alan Tanner.

Mel is still standing in her place. She observed the Building, the design already visible two-tower unique building with a height of 25 floors. This Building is the head office of the MT Group.

To speed up developing her business, she's invested in buying land in the business district. When she purchased land here, the land price was high. She had to use almost all her savings at the Swiss Bank to buy the land and build the Building.

She is very proud of what she has achieved so far. She starts her own business almost without others' help. Even Grandma doesn't know she owns MT Group. Grandma only knew that her granddaughter is working as an employee at the Company.

A handsome man is walking over to Mel. He wears a white shirt with jeans and a navy trench coat, and his hair is dark brown with a low fade cut.

Seeing his walking with steadfast steps, he looked like a model who had walked out from a magazine. "Morning Boss …!" He said in a warm, respectful voice.

Mel immediately came back from her thoughts when she heard someone greet her. She turned her head around and saw Hiro walking towards her.

Mel nods and smiles at him. "Morning, Hiro."

She walks toward the security post at the entrance. After wearing a protective helmet, she enters the building area, which has been 95% finished.

Hiro followed Mel; then he heard Mel ask him, "Hiro, what do you think about this building?"

Hiro stopped his track; he stood beside Mel and said, "Boss, the building design is fantastic!" Hiro gave Mel his two thumbs up.

When he saw the 3D design of MT Head Office, he was amazed—a beautiful twenty-five floors of a skyscraper. The concept of the design is modern and ambitious; on each floor will have a vertical forest. This Building is environmentally friendly with as much natural lighting as possible and reduces the greenhouse effect as much as possible.

The designer is creative, understands, and true to follows Mel's crazy ideas. "Boss, I've never seen a building design like this." He once said. "And I'm sure when this building finished, people would be amazed to see it, just like I am now."

Mel nods with satisfaction at his compliment. "You'll see that soon," she replied proudly.

Hiro nodded in agreement. "Yes. The contractor said he would finish the Building in about six months." Hiro adds.

He couldn't wait to move into the new Building. They're currently renting one floor in the 'City Building' for the temporary office located not far from this Building and is right next to First Corp.

When Hiro was looking for a temporary office, Mel chose 'City Building' because she wanted to be near First Corp., that Company gave her a lot of inspiration.

"Boss, today we have a meeting with interior design and contractors who will work on the 25th floor for your penthouse and the 24th floor for you." Hiro reminded her.

Mel nodded. Of course, she remembered. Mel is very enthusiastic about discussing her penthouse. She wants to make her home as comfortable and luxurious as possible. She wanted all the facilities in her house, so she doesn't have to leave home.

They took the elevator that was already functioning and went up straight to the 25th floor to meet the contractor waiting for them there.

After a few hours, the meeting finally ended. Mel invited Hiro to have lunch together with her friends at Grandma's Recipe. Hiro already knows her friends, even 3 of her friends are Hiro's subordinates. He was already considered a Play Hard & Eat Hard member because he hung out with them too often.
