One win & One Defeat

( With Daiki)

Daiki was now standing in the place where he had agreed to meet Kakashi and team seven for their little sparring match, and as one would expect from the copy ninja he was no where in sight.

Daiki was alone, his team hadn't arrived as yet either.

With nothing to do Daiki sat under a tree and waited for everyone's arrival, and he didn't wait long.

Team ten arrived together not long after, and walked up to Daiki and greeted him.

" Daiki- sensei we're here." They said together.

" Good, just chill out until the other team arrives." Says Daiki observing their every move as they joined him under the tree.

' They have grown.' He commented in his mind.

Things were turning out as Daiki had expected, the three were showing signs of growth, and not stagnation or loss and the determination that had budded under his care had grown immensely.

What exactly they each had as their motivation behind that determination was unknown to Daiki, but it was a good sign.

" You all are doing well, growing much faster than I had expected, it seems after this sparring match stage two can begin." Says Daiki making the three flash a brief smile.

" Ah, what's stage two?!?!" A loud voice disrupted the group as team seven minus Kakashi appeared.

" Stage two, targeted individual development training, everyone has their strong and weak points, stage two focuses on shaping the individual into the best shinobi they can be by taking advantage of both strengths and weaknesses." Says Daiki as team seven are now standing in front of him.

" Sounds cool." Says Naruto.

" Will Kakashi-sensei do that as well?" Sakura asked.

" All team jonin have different ways of teaching, but don't worry they mostly do what's best for that student." Says Daiki as he gets up.

" You're already here, why continue hiding?" Daiki asked confusing the children present.

WHOOSH!!!

" Dai- Kun you really haven't changed much still as impatience as ever." Kakashi says as he appears standing in front of Daiki holding a small book.

" It's a wonder word hasn't spread about you being a pervert walking around with that book every day."

" The words I would expect from someone who's still a child." Responds Kakashi as he folds the book and puts it away.

" I can't be bothered to argue with you, let get this started, I was thinking, Sakura vs Ino, Naruto vs Shikamaru, and lastly Choji vs Sasuke."

" That's fine, let's start I plan to let these guys experience a C- rank mission when this is done." Says Kakashi.

' Oh, things have changed Kakashi decided to carry them on a mission already, I wonder if it's still going to be the wave mission, either way, I don't care much and it will be a good lesson for Kakashi, after mostly giving up on increasing his strength in recent years.' Thinks Daiki.

" Really Kakashi- sensei we're going on a real mission??!?!" Naruto questioned loudly and excitedly.

" Yeah, so let's hurry this up."

Hearing his response even the ever-gloomy Uchiha showed some excitement while Sakura looked mostly worried.

" Alright let's start the first fight." Says Daiki.

Sakura and Ino took the field while the rest stood back at a distance.

They stood five meters apart, and a trained eye could already tell who had the upper hand and they hadn't even fought yet.

' Sakura has already been intimidated, by Ino even if she isn't doing it consciously, unconsciously even if it's very faint to a person like Sakura who has never experienced bloodlust it must be terrifying.' Thinks Kakashi.

" Start!!" Daiki shouted.

Sakura trembling looked on as Ino quickly rushed her, and by the time she noticed and tried to move it was far too late, Ino kicked her in her stomach and as she was sliding back grabbed her wrist, kicked her legs out from under her and slammed her to the ground and placed a kunai at her neck.

By the time Sakura had, gotten over the pain she was feeling she had already lost.

" Winner Ino." Daiki said, but he didn't look happy.

' Well, that's the only victory we're getting today.' Daiki thinks watching Ino help Sakura up and try to comfort her.

Daiki looked on and could see the disbelief in Sakura's eyes but didn't say anything after all they weren't his students.

" Nice job Ino, I'm proud of you." Says Daiki.

Hearing this Ino blushed and stayed silent as Daiki sank into his own thoughts not seeing.

' The other two, the most I can hope for is that they put up a good fight, I don't expect Choji or Shikamaru to win their fight, the Uchiha brat was way stronger than them in the academy, and with the limited time I've had to train them so far, Choji stands no chance unless he manages to wear out the Uchiha brat and then strike but even that seems impossible because of the large amount of chakra needed to perform his clan jutsu even with his newfound chakra control Choji won't be able to hold on for so long, Shikamaru only has shadows as his only attack method now, and far less chakra than Naruto who can spam shadow clones.' Thinks Daiki.

' Well, at least they will learn something.'

( Choji vs Sasuke fight)

" Start!!"

" Fire style: fireball jutsu."

Sasuke wasted no time firing a fireball at Choji who jumped out of the way and then ran straight towards Sasuke, unlike Sakura Sasuke had experienced bloodlust from a powerful shinobi before so Choji's unconscious release did nothing to him.

Seeing Choji approaching Sasuke take a stance to engage in taijutsu, Choji spots this and stops on the dime.

" Partial expansion jutsu."

Choji's hand grew in size quickly as it headed straight for Sasuke, who was caught by surprise.

BOOM!!!

The ground shook as the fist hit where Sasuke was.

Whoosh!!!!

With speed quicker than Choji could follow Sasuke appeared behind with a kunai at his neck.

"Winner Sasuke." Daiki announced, with a smile as he looked at Sasuke's bleeding left arm that was limp at his side.

' Caught him by surprise, even if he dodged couldn't dodge it all.' Daiki thinks as he continues to smile looking at Choji.

" Wow, Sasuke actually got hurt!!!" Naruto shouted in surprise.

" Sasuke- kun." Sakura whispered looking worried.

" Nice job Choji." Ino said completely surprising Daiki who expected her to be worried about Sasuke.

Naruto's comment only seemed to anger the Uchiha as he stood with his face twisting either in pain or anger.

' What the hell happened?? I know girl change their minds quick but....' Daiki thinks as he watches her patting Choji on the back.

Ino turns and sees him, but continues with what she is doing.

" Very nice job Choji, I didn't expect you to think of such a plan, but you did well I'm proud of you." Says Daiki.

Hearing this Choji smiled a big smile, very much happy with being able to make Daiki proud.
