A small step with happy steps is now getting closer to Daniel, who is focusing on paying attention to the paintings in front of him.

Daniel's gaze at every picture there seemed to calm him down. If previously Daniel felt a little restless, then it's a different matter now where he begins to feel the warmth and comfort of every painting in front of him.

The paintings in front of him in particular, according to him, each have their own different stories.

"This story is beautiful and almost similar to my storyline," Daniel whispered after stepping on his feet towards the third painting that was there.

"This is just a painting. How is there have a story, uncle?" asked Jaden, who for some time had been beside Daniel, more accurately following Daniel.

Daniel furrowed his brows and looked over to his side.

Daniel rubbed his ear to make sure he hadn't misheard that someone had called him 'Uncle'.

'Is it possible?'

"I'm next to you. Can you look at the one below you?" Jaden whispered, quite annoyed with Daniel, who never looked at him and only looked confused.

"Gosh! I think I have a problem with my ears," Daniel whispered with a chuckle.

Jaden folded his arms, pursing his lips cutely.

Daniel knew that the little boy was sulking at him, for that, Daniel lightly apologized to Jaden and also asked Jaden if he wanted to be carried by him while accompanying him to see one by one the paintings that were there.

The little boy excitedly nodded his head.

Daniel quickly equalized his height with Jaden and lifted Jaden into his arms.

"Was this time you were abandoned by your two uncles?" asked Daniel before looking at the beauty in the third painting he was about to see.

Jaden's two eyes were perfectly rounded. He just remembered that he had just left his two uncles after realizing that Daniel had entered the gallery.

Jaden bit his lip, realizing his mistake. He doesn't want to be labeled a bad boy by his mother later, but it seems that he has managed to throw a tantrum on his mother's two friends, who have been helping his mother.

"What's wrong? Is something wrong?" asked Daniel in a tone that sounded soft and did not scold him.

Jaden wrapped his arms around Daniel's neck, nodding his head slowly.

'Good grief! This child is so cute, may I have it?' Daniel whispered in a mind that felt comfortable with Jaden's presence.

"Can you explain in more detail? Uncle doesn't understand what problem you're having."

Jaden looked at Daniel closely, and after that, he told Daniel that he was the one who left his two uncles after seeing Daniel, who entered the gallery.

A smile Daniel gave Jaden. For some reason, he felt he had a place in Jaden's heart, and for that reason, Daniel was able to meet again with Jaden, the boy who made a special impression on him.

"So now, do you want uncle to find your two uncles first, then you accompany me to look for paintings, or what do you want?" Daniel asked Jaden giving a decision.

For a moment, Jaden seemed to think carefully about Daniel's words before he made a good decision.

"I want to be with you, so it's better for you to see Mommy's painting first, then we'll find my uncle," Jaden said calmly while giving a smile that was very warm to see.

Without any refusal, Daniel immediately agreed to Jaden's wish. After all, he wanted to spend more time with the boy much longer.

The young man went back to the third painting where according to his point of view, it is a picture where a pair of lovers are happy together as if the two of them can be together forever.

"This is beautiful, if my story is like this painting," Daniel whispered.

Jaden slowly noticed Daniel's face, which focused on every painting in front of him.

'Why is uncle Daniel's smile exactly the same when Mommy saw this painting? Is there really a story to every Mommy painting?' Jaden whispered, who did not understand about the paintings on display there.

"Uncle, can uncle explain about this painting? I'm curious because uncle's facial expression is almost the same as Mommy's face when looking at this painting. I think this is just an ordinary painting, although the coloring is beautiful to look at."

Hearing Jaden's question and also the reason he gave him, of course, Daniel agreed to the boy's request.

"Thank you, uncle," Jaden said, looking happy.

One by one, Daniel began to tell the reason for each painting in front of him. The story of the painting in front of him, of course, became a distinct impression for Jaden, who in the end, knew the meaning of the painting from his mother.

He is happy if his mother is someone who has happy things in his life. For some reason, he believes that the painting in front of him is the outpouring of his mother's heart which he vents on the strokes that end in each painting.

"You seem to have a happy family," Daniel told Jaden.

Jaden gave a smile and nodded his head quickly for him that living with his mother alone made him happy, even though until this moment he didn't even know his father figure, he knew that since he was born, there was only his mother in his life, and also his two uncles, the rest he doesn't know at all.

"Thank God, may I meet your parents next time?" asked Daniel, suddenly asking Jaden.

The little boy frowned, looking confused at Daniel, who suddenly wanted a meeting with his parents.

"I only live with Mommy. I don't know if I have Daddy, Mommy never talks about it, and I've never asked Mommy about it."

For a moment, Daniel was silent, hearing Jaden's words. For some reason, hearing those words made him feel sad.

"Sorry, I don't know if you only live with your Mommy, then can I meet your Mommy?" asked Daniel again.

"That's okay, uncle, Mommy and I are happy, okay I'll tell Mommy later," Jaden said happily.

'I am so sorry for this child. He should still have the full love of his parents, don't be like me when Mother is gone.'

"How is this? Why did Jaden just disappear? Wasn't he in front of us, wasn't he? I didn't find him around the place where Jaden had been before," Edward whispered with his clothes getting messy.

Not too different from Edward, so now Axelle looks much more disheveled, and don't forget the sweat dripping on their foreheads and clothes.

"I can't understand why Jaden is getting smarter and more lively. I still remember how cute Jaden was when he first called Jenni 'Mommy' and now?"

Edward, who agreed with Axelle's words, just nodded his head.

Until...

A phone ring suddenly entered Axelle's cellphone.

' Michael? Why did he call me?'

Axelle slides the button on the screen to answer the call from Michael.

"Hello Axelle, where are you now? Can you help me?" asked Michael on the other end of the phone.

Axelle frowned in confusion, hearing his brother's question.

"What's wrong? Is there really anything I can help you with?" asked Axelle in return, reluctantly revealing his whereabouts.

"As if something is wrong here, are you hiding something from me?"

Axelle gulped his saliva roughly, while Edward, who was not far from him, just stared at Axelle confusedly.

"You know a lot, you know," said Axelle, who tried to argue as best he could.

"Okay, can you help me accompany my best friend? He needs a vacation, he's too tired from work, I just want to make sure that while he's in France, he can enjoy his vacation, and since I can't catch up with him because of Lily so, can you replace me?" Michael asked.

Axelle took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Do you mean your best friend is Daniel?"

"Correctly, apparently, you still remember my best friend."

Axelle rolls his eyes lazily and babbles a little to tell his brother that he only has one friend who is none other than Daniel and vice versa.

"Okay, where is he now?"

"I'll send you the address."

A low hum ended the call.

"Who?" Edward asked.

"My brother, and you know... I was ordered to accompany Daniel, the former lover of our best friend."

Edward couldn't help but take a deep breath. It seems that this time they are just waiting for the time when Daniel and Jenni will be able to meet again.

"Do you think Jenni will come back to him?"

Edward shrugged his shoulders slowly, not daring to answer what only Jenni knew about the answer.
