Look At Me, Daddy!

"Niel, can you explain you brought us to this hotel?" asked Jenni who realized that they had arrived at a hotel that could be considered a five-star hotel in her country.

"Like I said that we're going to meet someone quite important today, and since we have to get ready to change clothes and everything related to it, then I've contacted Jack, I think you still remember him too... to prepare the room for us."

"Jack? Jack is here?" Jenni asked Daniel who got a head shake.

Jenny pinched her forehead lightly. She realized that Daniel was still Daniel, sometimes the young man relied on his secretary as usual to provide for his needs.

"If Jack took care of all this, then where is he now?"

"Maybe in the office. There's no way he's here with me too, you can take it easy now he's my representative because I think he's the most appropriate, and because of that I'm not too worried about the company."

Instantly Jenni, who previously looked patient and managed her emotions well, now started to explode little by little without being asked.

"Hey!! Can you not make it difficult for him? You don't feel sorry for Jack? I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a girlfriend because you always make it difficult for him, don't you?" Jenny whispered suddenly.

Daniel reflexively backed away, not to mention Jaden covering his ears.

But unlike Daniel who looked very shocked by Jenni's extraordinary change, so not Jaden who looked more relaxed and cool looking at his mother as if he was used to what he had just seen, even a grin could be seen on the little boy's face

"He... he doesn't have a girlfriend, but he never blames me Jen."

Daniel and all the reasons that don't work for Jenni.

If Jenni said it like that, then Daniel couldn't comment other than apologizing. Oh, come on how did he know if Jack would feel what Jenni said if he didn't say it himself.

It's clear that Daniel is not a fortune teller who can find out what's in people's hearts, so how can Jenni know that? Does Jenni have a side job being a fortune teller?

"Jen, are you okay? You didn't turn into a fortune teller like in the dramas did you?" Daniel whispered as he put the back of his hand on Jenni's forehead.

A loud scream suddenly sounded from Jenni's lips.

"Daddy, Daddy shouldn't go against Mommy's words, if it's like this it will take longer, Daddy," complained Jaden who felt his father was really insensitive.

"Is that so? Is Mommy like this often?" asked Daniel in a half whisper to his son.

Jaden gave Daniel a small nod, and it wasn't long before he revealed that the easy targets for his anger were none other than Edward and Axelle.

"What should Daddy do then?" asked Daniel asking for less advice, or rather because the boy understood Jenni far more than Daniel himself.

Jaden took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Inevitably for the sake of helping his father, Jaden in the end issued his flagship move.

"Daddy, take a good look at me."

Jaden who was full of confidence immediately jogged a little and jumped to ask Jenni to carry him.

"Mommy!" Jaden whispered, to which of course Jenni responded very quickly and caught Jaden's arms.

"Ah baby Mommy, it seems like the only baby I can count on."

Jaden gave Jenni a slight grin and nod of his head.

"Mommy, can't you forget about Daddy's little mistake? I don't want the atmosphere to be unpleasant, Mommy," Jaden whispered coyly to Jenni.

Instantly Jenni melted with the words of her only son. She didn't want Jaden's happiness to be ruined just because of her actions, and for Jaden's sake, Jenni finally forgot about the conflict between Daniel and Jenni for a while.

"If baby asks, then Mommy will do it, and tell your Daddy that Daddy owes you."

"Hum, Jaden knows Mom."

"That's good!"

'Apparently, Jenni's medicine back to normal is only Jaden,' Daniel whispered in his mind which was starting to feel calmer and less guilty.

After that, the three of them entered the hotel, where they brought a set of clothes that they would wear that night.

Yes, they planned to have dinner with the person Daniel had promised.

"Woah, this room is huge Daddy! Can we stay here after the meeting?" Jaden asked, feeling immediately reluctant to stay at the hotel longer.

"Of course! You can spend the night here today."

"Really? Daddy isn't just trying to cheer me up, are you?" Jaden asked Daniel to confirm which he replied with a firm statement that he allowed Jaden to stay at the five-star hotel.

"Baby, we're going back to the apartment tonight."

"Mom??" Jaden whispered while tearing up his eyes trying to ask Jenni who looked very stiff.

She really wanted to firmly reject Jaden's question, but only seeing her son who rarely asked her for something of course made her unable to refuse directly.

Jaden pursed his lips looking so sad and cute at the same time.

Hesitantly Daniel placed his hand on Jenni's shoulder.

"You allow him, Jen, I want to feel what it's like to fulfill my own son's wish."

Checkmate!

Jenni couldn't refuse at all, moreover, Daniel had taken out his ace card. When it comes to Jaden, then he immediately turns weaker than usual.

"Alright, only tonight until tomorrow."

Those were the words that came out of Jenni's mouth in the end. Jaden, who was delighted with the answer, seemed to jump a little to hear the answer he liked.

'I will mark today as the number of my birth in this world.'

'My son is very happy apparently ... this is the first time since Daniel started to re-enter my life Jaden looks much more cheerful.' Jenni's monologue in her mind understood what was going on in Jaden's mind.
