12 Cyber Dogs

Somewhere in Santo Domingo day time 

A group of 30 people are drinking, dancing and shooting in a remote location. 

"Hell yeah that would teach those filthy Valentinos". 

"ha ha we kill at list 14 of them". 

There are the 6th street Gang known to them by there patriotic style. Wearing and flaunting their country flag all around them self and their bases. They wishes to bring justice to Night city. 

"Raise your bottles boys because we made night city a little bit safer. To justice" 

"To justice X30" 

Everyone took their drinks and started the party again. 

"Boss we caught someone snooping around our territory" 

"Really? How many?" 

"He was alone boss we checked and there's no one else" 

"Bring him here" 

"Yes boss" 

3 gangs brought the person in question 

"So this is the guy?" 

"Yes X2" 

"Why does one of my men has a broken nose." 

"It's because he hit me in the face with his pistol. It was kind of funny if I'm being honest when he was screaming bloody murder when I broke his nose. and seeing the rest of your men pointing their guns at me. 

"And who the f**k are you?" 

ohh sorry, my name is 8 I'm a Merc hire to take that guy wearing a cowboy hat with a brown jacket, that girl over there wearing goggles smoking a cigarette, this guy that I broke his nose and you to our client who wants justice. 

"The f**k we are the 6th street gang we are justice, did those Valentinos hire you? 

"Nope remember that you killed 14 Valentinos and you left one heavily injured so he can spread the word of your "justice". Well that person wasn't part of the gang he was a innocent teenage boy that you mistakenly thought was a Valentino just because he was wearing a gold necklace. his family wants us to bring the people that brought harm to the boy." 

"So what, if he wasn't part of the Valentinos wearing a gold necklace means he's going to join the gang in the future. If anything my boys prevented a future threat to society." 

"You assaulted a innocent boy and using your own words, you are a threat to society which means I can beat the living shit out of you. No matter if you beg for me to stop after all I'm bringing justice to night city." 

The boss stood up and pointed the gun at me same with his gang. 

"You really are an idiot saying that to my face while you are surrounded. Maybe I should tie you up and make you a punching bag for my boys until you die." 

"That's not a bad idea. When I take you guys to our client I will recommend them to hang you up like a pinata so they can beat you to death." 

"You little" 

Punch 

"The boss tumbles. Hands on his face then he falls on the ground unconscious." 

The 6th street gangs were shock that someone actually punched the boss in front of them knowing he was surrounded. 

"You son of a" 

Bang 

The guy was shot in the back of the head by their own gang. 

"What the f**k" 

Splat 

Two more died from their own gang by smashing their heads together. 

"Traitors? no they're not one of us." 

Indeed they're not part of the gang it was V and Jackie wearing 6th street uniform It was easy to infiltrate since everybody was drinking and dancing. 

"We're being attacked everyone sho-" 

He didn't finish his sentence because his head was cut off. 

"Ohh shit, shit" 

"Grrrrrrr" 

"A dog?" 

It was Lola with a katana on her mouth. 

"Shoot sho-" 

In a blink of an eye Lola decapitated another one. 

And just like that everybody start to panic it made the job easier. The 6th street gangs not knowing If there's more enemies disguise in their group. killing everyone except for the four individuals that harmed the boy. 

Time passed 

"They're all tied up did you find anything good?" I asked Jackie and V. 

"Not much from the weapons they're at least three good weapons the rest are common. but they did have lots of money" says V. 

"Lots of cheap alcohol shit ton off fireworks waste of money" says Jackie. 

"Bring some fireworks we can have fun with it or we can use it to distract our enemies." I said. 

We were finishing looting everything that has value, until we heard cars coming our way. 

We took our weapons out preparing to what's to come. When the cars came closer, we relaxed It was the Valentinos. 

"What are they doing here" says Jackie. 

"I'm guessing they're here to take revenge for what the 6th street gang did." I said. 

"They took their time there's nothing they can do" says V. 

woof [slow] 

Lola can communicate thanks to the focus. She can only say one sentence at a time. She can say anything out loud or send messages when the need to infiltrate. (I think it will make it easier for people to know how Lola feels.) 

The car stops one by one at least 20 Valentinos came out from the cars. one of them came towards me I'm guessing he's the leader of the group. 

"Thank you for taking care of those scumbags did El Padre sent you?" 

"Yes, but it was too take the gang that harmed the boy as you can see it didn't go well." I said. 

He nods. 

"Who the hell are you?" 

The person that says that was a Valentino. He looks to be in his 20s. 

I looked at the leader. 

"I'm guessing he's new" 

The leader nods. 

I look at the new guy. 

"We are the Cyber Dogs a group of mercenaries." I said. 

"Never heard of you guys" 

"It's been almost a month since we announce our name. Anyways our job here is done we're leaving." I said. 

"Hey I'm not done talking." 

The leader smacks the new guy on the back of the head. 

"Shut up or you'll unleash the Mad Dogs" 

I decided to ignore that and we went inside the car and left. 

Inside the car I can see Jackie with a grin. 

"Mad dogs" says Jackie. 

I roll my eyes. 

Our mercenary name is "Cyber Dogs" but we are known from another name "Mad Dogs" how we ended up with the name? is the way we eliminate murderers and ra**ts. (hi it's me the author I want to say thank you to those that voted for the names "Cyber dogs". I saw someone voting for "Mad hearts" which ended up second place I got greedy and decided to take "Mad" from "Mad heart.") 

"It's your fault that we ended up with that nickname" says V. 

"Hey! I did say that I won't show mercy to those that don't value life" I said. 

woof [kill] 

"Thank you Lola I know I can count on you." 

"I still have nightmares of what you did to the ra***s." Says Jackie. 

Flashback 

The gig was to save the kidnap girls from 3 ra**ts. Thanks to the system It didn't take long to find them, as long as I have a little information the system will skip all the tedious investigation it will highlight the location directly. We're inside a basement next to us is a furnace where they cremate, they're victims when they die. The 3 ra**ts are already captured and tied up. 

"I called El Padre if he could send someone to pick up the girls. Will probably takes 30 minutes." Says Jackie 

"OK V how's the girls?" 

"Their bruises some of them have a dislocated arm in time they will heal mentally I don't know." says V 

"Hey you!." 

One of the bastards calls out to V. 

"You have a fine ass why won't you take off your pants and satisfy me." 

Hearing this I went to the furnace. 

"You discussed me how dare you talk to me like this, how dare you taking advantage to those innocent girls." says V 

"Shut up b**h you are nothing but a meat hole born to satisfy us men." 

V was furious and wanted to beat the living shit of that scumbag. 

"You should have said that, now I don't see you as an enemy." I said 

"Huh what the f**k that's supposed to mean?" 

I'm still facing the furnace. 

"It means that I don't see you as an enemy anymore instead you are nothing but a meat hole for me to stick this on you." 

After saying that I turn around and in my hands is a red-hot metal pipe. 

"Lola!" 

"Woof" [yes] 

Lola injected a healing item on the scumbag. 

"The fuck! Hey put me down! Hey wait why are you pulling out my pants." 

"Lola injected you with a medicine that gives you a healing factor that last at least 30 minutes so you won't die easily." I said 

I walk towards the scumbag held by Lola in the air in a position that his ass is looking at me. 

The scumbag realized what I'm about to do. 

"Wait, wait, wait, I'm sorry, please, please don't do it." 

"A meat hole doesn't have the right to talk much less be forgiven." I said with a hint of anger. 

"No, no, no, no, no please don't please, please" 

Without hesitation I shove the red-hot pipe right in the ass.

Flashback end 

"I clenched my ass so hard I swear I could rip my pants" Says Jackie. 

"Well, he asked for it same with the other two scumbags after seeing what I did they shit themselves." 

"Woof" [funny] 

"You're teaching Lola dangerous things 8" says Jackie. 

"No, I'm teaching her life lessons isn't that right V" 

V didn't answer she keeps staring out the windows. 

"V? V are you listening?" I said. 

"What? you say something?." 

"What are you thinking V? If you want you can talk to us" says Jackie. 

"It's nothing serious I'm just thinking that...." 

"What?" 

"That I think I'm ready to implant a cyberware." 

"Are you serious, hell yeah" says Jackie. 

"Woo! let's celebrate let use the fireworks" I said. 

"Hey! are you going to light it up inside the car are you crazy" Says Jackie. 

"Lola stop him" says V. 

"You won't stop me" I said 

The car was weaving left and right. 

Some time passed after delivering the 4 gangs to our client we headed straight to Vik clinic. 

"Vik I'm ready hit me with that Chrome" says V. 

"Finally, kid I was worried that you will take a long time to accept any cyberware." says Vik 

"Yes, today is the day. 8 bring the cyberware" 

"Yes, ma'am one powerful sandevistan coming up." 

"Ohh boy what does it do it's like Jackie's Gorilla arm able to pick up cars without the need for a full body cyberware." Says Vik 

Jackie's gorilla arm can pick up cars which it shouldn't be possible since he doesn't have any cyberware on the legs or the spine. if I have to guess it's because it's modded, in the game you can pick up enemies and throw them something that they added. It didn't take long for people to mod the game so the player can pick up almost anything, including cars and throwing them with ridiculous distant. 

"Good thing you did it in far and remote place people will think Jackie is in a cyber psychosis." says Vik. 

"More like a rampaging gorilla" I said 

"I'm here damn it" says Jackie. 

"Tell me about the sandevistan that you have in your hands." says Vik 

"Well, it can slows time to 90%" I said. 

"I heard that militech invented a sandevistan that slows time to 85% which is the most powerful one you can get" says Vik. 

"The activation duration lasts 30 seconds." 

"Jesus kid 30 seconds, a sandevistan should last between 9 to 10 seconds something like this you can eliminate at list 10 people or more. Now how long does it take to recharge." 

"One second." 

"Sorry can you repeat that" 

"One second to fully recharge And activated again" 

"Kid you're going to be the death of me I swear" says Vik. 

"You said that but you're dying to see it in action aren't you Vik" I said. 

Vik Smiles. 

"Come on let's implant the sandevistan" says V 

"Will be waiting at Misty's shop" says Jackie 

"OK it will probably take a hour and a half." say Vik 

Time pass Me and Jackie were in Misty's Shop playing Uno while Lola it's in the back of the shop playing with his friend the cat. 

"So Misty's how is with Mama Welles?" I said 

"She is warming up to me just a little she keeps bringing food saying that I need to eat more." says Misty 

"I still can't believe you convince my mother to accept Misty" says Jackie 

"Of course, I couldn't just sit there Listening Mama Welles comparing Misty with your old girlfriend." 

I talked to Mama Welles that it wasn't fair how she treats Misty without actually knowing her. She keeps saying that Jackie's old girlfriend was better so I asked her if the old girlfriend ever ask for money often, she said yes then I told her Misty never ask Jackie for money since she is independent and has her own shop. I told Mama Welles that love it's a rare thing in night city only people care about how much money you make. I also told her that her son becomes an idiot when he's near Misty. Jackie almost choked drinking a beer then I unleash my secret weapon I told Lola to use puppy eyes while her head rested on Mama Welles lap and just like that she decided to give Misty a chance. 

"Thank you 8" says Misty 

"Yeah, thanks" says Jackie 

I nod after that we receive a text message from Vik saying that he finish implanting the cyberware I stood up and went to the ripperdoc. Jackie decided to stay with Misty I said my goodbyes. 

Inside of Vik clinic. 

"Take it easy kid you need at list 2 days of rest, don't activate the cyberware. Here take those painkillers." Says Vik 

"Hey Vik. So, V how you feeling" I said 

"A little tired and hungry." says V 

"Kid, can you take V to her apartment?" says Vik. 

"Of course, I already did it with Jackie when you implanted the gorilla arms." I said 

"You don't need to do it I can't go by myself" says V. 

"That's not an option in the state you're in. if someone see you, they will attack you." I said 

"You do have a point okay let's go." says V 

After that we said our goodbyes to Vik . 

We headed to the Megabuilding. V's apartments it's on the 8th floor we're heading towards the elevator. Something fell beside me more precisely someone landing on the top of a pile of trash. I look at the person in question. I was surprised because this person shouldn't exist at least in this time David Martinez the protagonists of Edgerunner. 

The two of us are looking at each other. 

What? says David 

"8 come on" 

I heard V calling me 

"Sorry I'm coming" 

I went inside the elevator with V. I can still see David looking at me. When the elevator started to go up he turned around and left. 

After leaving V at her apartment and leaving some healthy food on her refrigerator making sure that she has everything that she needs while she is resting, I left her apartment. 

An hour passed and I think I know why David it's here it's because of a quest mod where you can meet the characters of edgerunner. I did remember installing the mod but it was buggy it didn't have voice on the characters It wasn't completely finished. But after seeing David and hearing him talk I'm guessing that the mod fix itself when I transmigrated. Is it possible to save David's mother Gloria? since I saw him wearing a school uniform. 

"Woof" [hungry] 

"Hey Lola where were you?" 

"Woof" [friend] 

"I see OK let's go home" 

"Woof" [happy] 

I already tag David just in case he's in danger for now I won't interfere in his life.
