You Don't Believe Me, Right?
Corbin and Sylvia sat on a couch in Sylvia's home, having a proper conversation for the first time after that strange night.
Corbin was worried that someone might find that ghost's body and reach to him, but after Sylvia's assurance, he felt somewhat relieved.
"Corbin, would you mind telling me about... I mean..."
Corbin gulped as sadness washed over his face. "I don't know what I am, Sylvia. Nobody knows it. My parents lived in another town. For years, my uncle and my parents couldn't meet each other because of the long distances.
One day, my aunt and uncle came to visit us. They were excited to meet their little nephew. I was five years old then."
Sylvia noticed the dark shadow that began to cover Corbin's face as he narrated his life story. She had a feeling that whatever he was about to say was not pleasant or something she had expected.
"They came excitedly, but when they opened the door of the house, they... they found..."
