Sylvia shivered in Martin's arm as he held onto her shoulder, watching his friends beating Finn. He felt anger bubbling inside him. He thought that pervert might have learned his lesson the first time, yet he tried to commit the same crime and that too in the town.
He was glad that Corbin was not there to witness the whole scene, or it would have been difficult to control him.
"White! Hunt! Stop!"
"You will kill him, Sigerten. Smith, stop!!"
Martin watched as the elders of the town rushed to stop his friends from beating Finn. It was challenging to pull them away from their target.
"Martin, tell them to stop, or they will kill him."
Martin heard someone's words fall on his ears, but he remained silent, not batting his eyes. He was the most sorted person in the group, but what he saw today broke his patience completely.
