THE PRINCE'S PLAN

Prince Reigen was such a stubborn character since he was young. Many people said that he resembled his father a lot, and it seemed that no one would have a different opinion about that.

Not only were their appearance looked like twins, but their characters were similar as well. Both the king and the prince were stubborn and weren't easy to please, and if they wanted to get something, then they would try to fight for it until they would be able to get what they wanted.

Prince Reigen was the total opposite of the Crown Prince, Randver. Many people said that the Crown Prince had similar characters to the queen, and no one would disagree with that opinion.

Both Queen Tassia and Crown Prince Randver were soft-hearted people, and they couldn't even speak harshly toward other people even if they were angry.

And even their appearances were similar. When King Karl and Prince Reigen had black hair, the queen and the Crown Prince had blonde hair. It was such a fair outcome for the king and the queen because their children fairly took after their characters and appearances, and the people in Breviel were so envious of the perfect family.

King Karl could be seen as an arrogant and fierce leader in the kingdom, but as a father, he truly loved his children deeply. That was why he was against Prince Reigen's idea to lead the troops to attack Wemor's witches.

No one dared to question the prince's fighting ability, but the prince had no actual fighting experience. The prince had only ever practiced fighting with the royal soldiers, and he had never faced an actual opponent.

That was why the king hesitated before finally relenting and nodding his head to permit the prince to do what he wanted to do. Even if the queen was against the idea to the end, but King Karl remained faithful to his decision.

Pocketing permission from the king, Prince Reigen led the troops to Shovalon. For whatever reasons, Wemor's witches chose to stay in Shovalon after managing to conquer the kingdom.

Prince Reigen indeed had a plan, but the plan was actually just a sneaky idea. He had studied Wemor's witches for so many years, and he knew that the witches could only rely on their magic wands to be able to have strong powers. That was why he planned to snatch the magic wands away before he could launch an attack on the witches.

Prince Reigen knew someone who could make a strong potion that was colorless and odorless, and he would use the potion on the witches to get them to fall into a deep slumber for a short time.

Jumping off his horse, he then walked towards the tents set up in a barren area not far from Shovalon. He was 189 cm tall, and his legs looked really long when he was wearing the armor.

It was quite late at night, and the sky above his head was full of stars. However, those stars were inferior compared to how bright Prince Reigen was. His skin was fair and shiny, and even stars would feel embarrassed if they had to shine around the handsome prince.

The troops saluted him, but he paid no attention to them as he continued walking towards the most luxurious tent in the area. Sitting on a large chair inside the tent, a soldier immediately approached him and saluted politely.

"We have dispatched someone in Shovalon, and she will disguise herself as a servant there. She will put the potion on the food as you instructed, Your Highness."

Prince Reigen had expected that kind of report from the soldier, and he didn't look surprised at all.

"Those witches depend on their magic wands a lot, but it doesn't mean they don't have the evil power within their bodies," Prince Reigen replied coldly. "The potion will only be able to put them into a deep slumber for a few minutes, and the person we dispatched in the palace should be able to snatch the magic wands during the period. That person has to send us the signal after she manages to snatch the magic wands."

Prince Reigen was confident with his plan, but he knew that time was an important variable here. Those evil witches would only fall into a deep slumber for a few minutes, and the person they dispatched in Shovalon couldn't kill the witches alone in such a short time.

That was why Prince Reigen didn't want to take any risk and would send his army to the palace after the person managed to snatch the magic wands. He had instructed that person to immediately leave the palace after getting her hands on the magic wands, and if that plan was successful, then he would attack the palace at ease.

Now all he had to do was wait for the person to send the signal to them. The troops remained vigilant, and they could depart anytime after getting the signal from the person.

Prince Reigen was still inside the tent with the soldier, but then he decided to get up and walked toward the entrance of the big tent again. He got out of the tent and looked up at the sky in the west.

Under the sky he was observing was the palace of Shovalon, and when a firework appeared in the sky, then it was a sign for the army to head to Shovalon immediately. Actually, around five hundred strongest soldiers were waiting near Shovalon palace, and those soldiers would rush to the palace right away after the signal appeared.

Prince Reigen was only staying with the second layer of the troops, and the frontline troops probably would be able to get rid of the witches' army before he could arrive at the palace with three hundred soldiers.

And not long after, he could see a firework in the black sky. It was the cue for him to head to the Shovalon palace.

"Let's go to kill all those nasty witches."
