Chapter 7 (bonus)

"I'm sorry Danzo-sama, we still haven't found where Sakumo sent his adopted son for treatment. Our ninjas have already visited all known doctors in the surrounding countries."

Sitting on his throne, Danzo looked in disappointment at his subordinate kneeling in front of him and asked him what was happening with Tsunade's adopted son.

(W.N. Is there a word I can use instead of subordinate? Or is this word appropriate?)

"Tsunade-sama's adopted child wandered around the house for a short time the other day and then returned home. We were able to find out that the boy's name was Yuta through a shopkeeper he came into contact with at the time. The shopkeeper was generally full of praise for him, and I also found out that he bought a large amount of alcohol and fresh meat from the shopkeeper."

Danzo let out a deep sigh at this and said that they would stop following them.

Danzo guessed that it was Hiruzen who had brought the boy to the village and caused Tsunade to adopt him.

Although Danzo was a little skeptical about this unknown boy with an unknown background, he cared more about Tsunade's mental health than he did about an unknown boy, as he would soon be taking over as the fourth Hokage. He had already seen with his own eyes in the previous battle that a skilled ninja and doctor like Tsunade could defend a line of battle almost single-handedly. Moreover, if Tsunade saw this boy as the last connection in her life, he could use this boy to manipulate Tsunade.

During the previous war, Hiruzen had lost a lot of favor in the village. The start of a new war right after the end of the previous one would make many people unhappy with him. As a result, a new election would take place and Danzo would be the most likely to become the next Hokage.

With this in mind, Danzo has been acting much less ruthless lately and making more public appearances. But Danzo was quite wrong.

With a new war underway, people were not going to force Hiruzen, at the height of his power, to resign his position as Hokage until the war was over. What would have caused this position to be given to a new person would have been the bad deal made by Sarutabi Hiruzen at the end of the third shinobi war.

Dinner was going on at Sakumo's house while Danzo was daydreaming about what he would do after his plans were realized.

Sakumo somehow managed to dodge his son's question, but he could see from the look on his son's face that he didn't believe him. Well, his answers to Kakashi about the status of Yuta's treatment were not really convincing, but Sakumo had been too busy lately to think about that.

"Kakashi, I'm thinking of signing you up for the ninja academy tomorrow, I'll have to go on a long mission soon so you won't be bored at home."

"The war is starting again."

Sakumo almost spit the food back out of his mouth when he heard his son talking about a new war.

"Ahem. Where did you hear that?"

Kakashi rolled his eyes. "The whole village is talking about it."

Sakumo wiped the corner of his mouth and sighed before telling his son the truth.

"Tis likely that a new war will begin. But don't worry, the previous war exhausted the five major villages, so this one will be short. Besides, Yuta is recovering in a country far enough away that he won't be affected by these wars."

Kakashi's eyes lit up when he heard that his little brother would be safe. Even though he had only spent a month with his brother, it felt so good to have a family member other than his father.

After the conversation, Kakashi agreed to sign up for school tomorrow with his father and the conversation ended.

Meanwhile, Yuta opened the wooden door in front of him as quietly as he could. Then, using one hand as a pair of binoculars in front of his right eye, he slowly poked his head through the door.

Over the past month, Yuta had taken photos of Tsunade in many different dresses and positions, earning silver-level rewards in return. Tsunade was a gold... or rather silver mine, of photogenicity. Each different position and dress combination brought a different reward.

But what if Yuta had managed to photograph the core of this mine, that is, without clothes...

When Yuta poked his head through the door with a smile, he immediately started taking photos one after the other using his talent.

The first photo was of Tsunade holding a wet and bubbling sponge, but she was covering her breasts with one hand while looking in her direction with the other. And her pose hides her important parts.

In the second photo, a giant sponge blocked half the picture. Tsunade's feet were the only thing visible from the corner of the sponge.

In the last photo, there was only a yellow, perforated substance.

Tsunade's voice telling him to get out filled the house as Yuta was thrown out of the bathroom with the exaggerated effect of the watery sponge hitting his head.

The sponge on his face slowly slid to the floor as Yuta heard the sound of the door closing hard. His eyes, which had just opened wide to take a photo, burned with soap suds from the sponge as he rushed downstairs and washed his eyes in the kitchen.

When Yuta got rid of the pain in his eyes, he called the system to see the photos he had taken and to check the awards he had received.
