"What?" Alden stood, frozen in place. The cave suddenly became black as he lost his Spiritual Eyes. The only light was the faint ghostly luminescent light emitted from the two torches on the wall and the altar.

"What just happened?" Alden muttered, still coping with what just happened. He could still feel remnant pain in his head. "I almost died and lost my Spiritual Eyes?"

Alden stood frozen in place for a few minutes.

"Sigh!" He let out a long sigh. "Damn, I lost big time." He put his hand over his head. Anger burned in him, but he was helpless. There was nothing he could do.

He glanced at the altar, the source of his problem.
