The First City

Dark clouds have gathered above the sky of the First City, blocking the sun. The sky portrayed the atmosphere in the city.

The First City spread for hundreds of miles around. Its large territory surrounded by high walls. Its population amounted to around 500,000 citizens.

But despite the large population, the streets of the First City, usually bustling with people, were now empty, without a single soul.

All the citizens were evacuated into underground shelters.

Hundreds of beast tamers prepared for battle at the east wall of the city.

On the wall, supplies of beast crystals to power the beast cannons were continuously arriving. The panic between the beast tamers on the wall was evident.

They were in a race against time to prepare the defense.

In the center of the city, a large tower went up in the sky. It was higher than the skyscrapers.

Inside the tower, on the last and highest floor, ten people stood around a circular table.
