Boom!

A pillar of red-black energy shot in the sky from the dome surrounding the eagle. 

The dome pulsated every second in a rhythm with the eagle's heartbeat. 

As it pulsated, the dome shrunk, and cracking sounded.

Malachar stared at the dome with satisfaction and admiration. This was his creation.

As time flew by, Malachar didn't move and only admired his creation as he waited for the evolution to complete. 

Clein couldn't move even if he wanted. He knelt on the ground behind Malachar. The blood of his wife and child that splashed on him had dried. His hatred only grew.

About half an hour later, the pillar of red-black energy slowly dimmed. The dark clouds in the sky gathered around the pillar, the thunder rumbling as if it waited for the evolution to complete and annihilate the beast. As if the heavens itself rejected the creation of this beast.

"W-What is that?" Malachar's eyes widened in terror.
