“Then why are you a thief here?”

“I'm not stealing! I'm just trying to get my bracelet back!”

She opened her palm to reveal a ruby bracelet in the shape of a moon. I'm shocked. How did she get a bracelet like that?

“How did you get this bracelet?”

“My mother left it to me.”

“How can I trust you?”

Instead of a direct answer, she asked, “Why don't you believe me? I'm Alpha Wallace's daughter. I don't have to lie about this.”

Rouge Moon Pack is very old, was the most powerful one Pack, although the last decade is no longer exclusive, but still famous. She does have the air of pride.

“But I've also heard that Mr. Bennett's eldest daughter is Cinderella's evil sister. You know, bad people usually have very bad qualities, like dishonesty or stealing.”

She sneered. “I also heard that the current Alpha of Blue Crescent is a cold-blooded monster who kills people, like his father.”

She looked straight into my eyes, which were so beautiful that I forgot to be angry.

“I'm sorry I offended you.”

Bruce screamed in my head, “Oh my God, do you know the word Sorry? I've never heard you say it to me before.”

“Shut your mouth!” I scolded. “I'll make you fall asleep!”

Odette added, “Since it's an apology, Mr. Parker should show some sincerity, shouldn't he?”

I cocked my head and looked at her with interest. Funny, really funny. This woman not only dared to look me in the eye, but also dared to bargain with me.

“What do you want?” I whispered.

She swallowed nervously. After about ten seconds, she said, “Take me away. Let Me Be Your Mate.”

I blinked, wondering if I had misheard.

Apparently surprised, Bruce asked, “Did the angel just speak English, or did I Mishear Him?”

“I'm not kidding.”

“I'm sure she was speaking English,” Bruce continued, “But obviously she's not very bright. She's got her eye on a man who supposedly killed his father. Do you think she knows your old mate died because of you?”

“Shut up!” I finally had to force Bruce to sleep. He was really loud. He's not usually such a noisy person, but he's obviously interested in this girl, just like me.

“Why aren't you talking?” Odette looked nervous.

“Why do you want to be my mate?”

“Because I want to get out of here.”

“Why? The Rouge Moon Pack is in the top 10, if not the number one Pack. You have everything you need here.”

“I have my reasons, but I can't talk to you right now.”

“Why should I believe anything you say? Besides, what's in it for me to take you away?”

“Olivia Morgan, I will find out who killed her.”

My face fell. I didn't know she knew about Olivia Morgan. Olivia was my mate, and two hours after I found out she was my mate, she was killed.

“Everyone says I'm a cold-blooded monster who kills his father. Don't you think I'm the real killer?”

“Everyone Says I'm Cinderella's evil sister.”

I looked at her for a long time without speaking. I tried to look at her face to see what she really thought. She didn't seem to be lying.

“I can take you,” I said.

She was visibly relieved.

“But,” I said, “Whether it's Luna or Omega depends on your ability.”

“I'll prove it to you. We'll see.”

I asked again, “I heard you'll be turning 18i n a month. What if you choose me as your mate now, only to discover that your true mate is someone else?”

I'll turn him down. Anyways, you're the Mate I choose.”

God, her dimples are so cute.
