"Run or else you will meet me there" Mrs Richard replied stubbornly as she increased her speed.
"Please stop being stubborn, you are not a kid anymore. What if you fall and injure yourself? Your current condition is not good Sandra" Mr Richard roared at her.
That made Mrs Richard flinch and froze on the spot because she knew that her husband was angry and his anger always came with a price.
He was a man who would make terrible decisions when in anger hence she slowed down unwillingly.
"Run now we are getting late and the school time will be over soon" She became weak as her body was not yet strong because of her health.
Mr Richard ran and got hold of her.
They rested for some minutes so that she would regain her energy and walked away at a slow pace.
IN THE SCHOOL PRESENTLY.
"What are you saying, sir? This woman does not deserve to be a teacher at all. She is very rude and heartless" My mum continued bellowing.
We attracted the attention of many people hence the teacher had to shout, “Everybody should disperse from here and follow their work!"
He turned to us and lowered his voice as he said, “Please come to the office" we all turned our attention towards him, "No the kid can go to her class, I only want to talk to the parents and your teacher Nelly"
I was a bit relieved as the situation changed drastically from worse to better.
My parents took off together with madam Nelly.
I was still confused at first but then I saw my friend Susan smiling at me.
I ran to her and hugged her passionately as we walked together to kindergarten three.
"Congratulations" Susan beamed. I looked at her with a confused face then I understood what she meant.
I nodded as we walked hand in hand.
Wow! I was feeling better that after all the drama, I had been promoted to another class which I did not expect at all. It was a dream coming true for me.
My aunt's idea of coming to school was not that bad at all.
Hahaha! I laughed as we ran to class while making a note of asking my parents how they got here and they were in the hospital.
IN THE OFFICE.
"You can have a sit" The headteacher retorted.
Mr and Mrs Richard sat while Rebecca and Madam Nelly continued standing because there were no extra chairs.
Madam Nelly looked scared and tensed. She could not understand the change of events.
Did the headteacher know what she did to that stupid kid? Was she going to be fired? She asked herself while remembering how she enjoyed bullying that tall little bastard.
She smiled inwardly just by remembering the fear she installed in that stupid.
She was the type that liked bullying the weak and worshipped those with power.
"Mrs Lance, am disappointed with your behaviour" Mr Andrew went straight to the point while sitting on his chair.
Lance was Madam Nellys surname.
"I am sorry sir but I... I don't understand what is w..."
"Don't you dare try to lie on my face" The headmaster cut her shortly?
He was very angry even the movement of his chest said it all. He was even breathing uncomfortable.
A realization dawned on the teacher like a blaze of fire and she immediately knew that she was in a hot soup.
She quickly predicted that she might get out of here jobless.
She rubbed her temple while shaking as sweat was rolling down her forehead, but she had to be strong as she thought with gritted teeth.
She had to pretend that she knew nothing before she lost her job.
She gathered her courage and smiled at the headteacher, “I don't understand ..."
"Shut up!" The man roared in the office. He was very disappointed in her behaviour.
How could he guess what this stupid woman was capable of doing to the children?
"I can't understand?" He repeated with a whisper.
He did not believe what that kid came and report to him in the early morning about what happened in the nursery block.
'So it was true? This animal who called herself a teacher is even denying her mistakes' The headteacher thought angrily.
He could guess by her reactions that what the kid said was true.
Then his thought wandered in the morning immediately when he was opening his office's doors.
'How are y-your sir?' He had nodded as he wondered why the kid had come to see him so early in the morning.
‘S-sorry sir but I want to report something to you. Madam Nelly has a habit of bullying the tall girl in nursery block but today I think she has overdone it, she has gone too far''. The kid reported as tears ran down her cheeks. But after the door had opened he ignored her and went into the office.
So it was true. ''Those poor kids.'' He muttered under his breath. “Get out, stay at home for a month then you can come and we can talk about this" he ordered the disgraced woman."
"p-please sir” She tried to plead.
“Get out before a call the security to drag you out"
"S-sir how will I feed my kids?”
“Out!"
He was so angry that the other people in the office did not dare to intervene. Madam Nelly kept begging and pleading but it was in vain.
She was dragged out by the elbows by two masculine men who wore black outfits. They had rushed into the room after hearing the headteacher's voice raised in anger.
"I am sorry for my behaviour, I did not mean to scare you, I apologize." He said as he sat down on the chair. The people inside just nodded.
"What she did is unforgivable but I assure you that it will not happen again.
"My apologies", Mr Andrew continued.
"It’s okay, we accept your apology but if this incident repeats itself, we will sue this school!" Becky said emotionlessly after watching what had happened in the office.
Mr and Mrs Richard were astonished by her sudden outburst. They were also shocked to see her there with their daughter who they thought was at home with her aunt.
But they were also very grateful for what she did to their daughter. They had never thought of her to be that courageous because she was soft-spoken.
Sandra could not believe that her baby sister was that brave but at least she had stood up for her kid.
After talking for some time they said their goodbyes to each other and the trio walked out of the office.
Outside the office, Becky remembered something very crucial and rushed inside the office leaving the duo surprised.
"Excuse me, sir, I am sorry to rush in without permission but please can you say the name of the kid who reported to you? We want to appreciate her before leaving."
The teacher smiled and got off his seat and pointed at the door like a gentleman would do.
Becky got out followed by the headteacher.
Outside, the teacher said ”, Follow me."
