CHAPTER 255: REVELATION 5

"Continue narrating!" The lady screamed again. She was not happy with the way the man suddenly went silent.

"O-okay ma'am! But please I beg of you to spare my life after all of this, please don't kill my three children and their mum"

"Hahaha! Hahaha! Hahaha!"  The lady laughed like a true maniac that the people in the little shabby room were shocked, "And who told you that I will kill you? If I wanted to kill you, I would have done that a long time ago. But you are very crucial in this mission of mine. You will serve an important task in this mission after this. But right now, tell us about it" She stated with glittering eyes.

"Yes, I will talk!" He declared and went on with what happened in the past, "After helping to put the lady in the labour room, we heard cries from outside so all of us rushed to check. Only to see an African lady who was crying with labour pains with her husband, we then rushed and helped her too. But in our hospital, there were inadequate rooms for labour so we had to take her to where we kept the first lady so that we could help both of them together" He paused as if to remember something.

"What happened next?" She asked as if she was dying to know the whole story while all this time, the two men were quiet as if all of that information didn't concern them.

They were like statues.

"Immediately the African lady was brought in, one of us rushed outside to help due to shortage of nurses compared to a large number of patients in that hospital. After he left, we then were..."

"Just continue with the story. Stop beating around the bush. We all know that of course, there remained the two of you in the room" The lady cut the man's words shortly.

"Yes, we remained the two of us in the room and the ladies were two so it was hard for us to attend to their needs but we tried our level best. I rushed to help the African lady and my colleague helped the Indian lady. But immediately after I listened to the lady's heartbeat, I froze. I could only hear one heartbeat and there were two people in one. How? What happened? I gazed at the woman's face. She was sweating and crying in pain. I didn't know what to do. Because I just couldn't tell her that her baby was long gone.  I looked at the lady and saw how healthy she was so I decided to help her conceive her baby. But what I went wrong due to the way I was panicked to save the lady's life because the baby was already dead, I didn't report the matter. I was sure if I did, I wouldn't be here right now nor would that lady steal the other baby"

"Please John! Can you tell us already? I am dying with that stupid suspense of yours. Tal.."

"Riiiiing! Riiiiiiing!" Suddenly the lady's phone rang.

"Excuse me, I need to receive this"
