They quickly got dressed for dinner and they still had some time when they reached the dining room table when chef Mickle told them that they were being served on the outside table according to the mistress's wishes. Kimberley got a big frown and at first, Janette didn't understand why, but then she took a look at Mickle and even she could tell that he was not happy.  He had not prepared a meal for outside he had cooked perfections that were going to be slightly off from bringing them outside.  So he was going to have to take special precautions to make sure that they still tasted the way that he wanted them to taste.

Janette understood why Mickle was upset because it was not planned but then she realized that Kimberley knew that if Mickle was upset then he would not make desserts and depending on how upset he was would delay them on getting them. Janette should have been able to tell the moment that she was upset that it had something to do with her getting sweets.
