V2 Chapter 32 : Law Enforcer, Zala

As Wei Chen stood before Lady Zala, his bravado faltered in the face of her unwavering resolve. The pressure of her aura, emanating at the cultivation level of low level 7, was enough to send a shiver down his spine. Unconsciously, he took a step back, his confidence waning as he realized the gravity of the situation.

However, just as Wei Chen began to feel the weight of Lady Zala's presence, an unexpected sound broke the tense silence. A low, rumbling chuckle echoed from behind Wei Chen, causing him to stiffen and a grin suddenly appeared on his face. Wei Chen almost forgot that his father hired strong cultivators to protect during his travels to scout this village. 

Wei Chen stood before Lady Zala, his confidence was bolstered by the presence of his bodyguards, the old man who had chuckled behind him and the other who remained silent. With a renewed sense of assurance, Wei Chen straightened his posture, his demeanor regaining some of its earlier arrogance.
