Chapter 21 Acquaitance

Luo Wenjun left Shu Yicha and walking on the way. He took out his sword from his storage ring and planned to fly by his sword. But he didn't, because he saw someone that attracted his attention, Wen Shan'er. He saw Wen Shan'er walking around aimlessy. So he went to her.

"Where's daddy? Did he goes to somewhere? But he didn't say anything before." She murmured while thinking. She wandered around the Yuanjun Pavilion for almost 30 minutes. Then, she heard someone called her, so she turned around.

"Miss Wen Shan'er?" Luo Wenjun called her as he walked closer to her.

"Hm? Yeah? Oh you also participated in the competition before, right?" She turned her head, and instantly recognize him. But she pretended not remembering his name.

"Yes, i'm Luo Wenjun. Congratulations for winning the competition. I saw you used Pure Furnace method in the competition. I tried to comprehend that method for 5 years but i can't, i'm not as talented as Miss Wen Shan'er." He said, wanting to start a conversation with her. Although what he said was true, but his intention is just want to get acquaitanced with her.

"Hehehe, thankyou, Young Master Luo Wenjun. You're also not bad." She smiled and said to him. Either pretentious or humble.

"I just saw Miss Wen Shan'er wandering around just now. Does Miss Wen Shan'er searching for something?" He asked. He was curious about Wen Shan'er because this is the first time he sees her in competition. Because he almost attends every competition from all over the continents. But he never sees her even once, even the participants in this competition is familiar to him.

"Yeah, i was searching for my father. I'm sure he waited for me here before i entered Yuanjun Pavilion. But i didn't see him after i go out from the building." She said.

"Maybe he went to somewhere. Why don't we wait in that restaurant? I will accompany this Miss until your father comes, it's dangerous for this Lady to be alone." He said to her with smile.

"Uhm, sure. Thankyou" She didn't refuse his offer.

'Why do i have to refuse prey that coming voluntarily?' She thought.

Then, they went to Jian Restaurant. This restaurant serves any kind of seafood. There's so many seafood shops along the way because mostly area of Yuntian Continent is water. Different from Tianyun Continent, which have more land than water. In addition to that, Tianyun Continent is smallest continent among 5 Continents. And the location is not advantageous because it surrounded by mountains.

"What do you want to eat?" He asked her after they sat at the room that they booked.

"I want to eat creamy shrimp, spicy baby squid, fish cake soup, crab seaweed ball and strawberry tea." She said after looking at the menu.

"Pfft!" He blurted out his laugh.

"Why are you laughing?" She asked raised her head from the menu to look at him.

"Aren't you afraid to become fat if you eat that much?" He asked amusedly.

'Really, she's so cute.' He thought inwardly.

"No, i'll not become fat. If i become fat then i'll just start diet. This is the first time i came to another continent. And this country have many delicious food, it has different taste with the one i usually eat at my home." She answered innocently.

"Really? So that's why your father accompanied you?" He asked.

"Yeah. I've been sick before, so i just stayed in my room all the time. But since right now i'm healthy, i don't want to stay in my room all the time anymore. It's so boring." She said pouted her mouth.

"You've been sick since you were a kid?"

"Yeah. But i'm healthy now" She emphasized that she's healthy as if afraid he didn't believe it.

'So cute, well she's still 15 years old, is every girl at her age is as cute as her?' He thought.

"Yeah, i believe in you." He said to her with a smile. After that, he called the clerk and ordered the food. While waiting for the food to come, he talking with her again.

"So how you study alchemy? In which academy?" He asked, this is the question the he want to asks the most.

"Hmm? I study it by myself. My father guides me sometimes" She answered.

"Who's your father?" He asked again.

"Huh why? Do you plan to stalking me?" She asked him suspiciously. Making him stared at her blankly and laughed.

"Pufff! Hahaha! No, i was just asking you. If you don't want to tell me, it's okay, forget it." He said to her with a smile.

'Well, even if you didn't want to tell me, i'll find it sooner' He thought.

"I'll tell you if we have a chance to meet next time." She said while looking at him.

"Sure." He replied. Then, the food that they ordered arrived, so they started eating their own food. Luo Wenjun only ordered seafood soup and tea. He just staring at Wen Shan'er happy expression when tasting the food, and when she tasted spicy baby squid, she has tears in her eyes, making him felt that she's cute. He smiled while watching her with tender eyes.

"Spicy?" He asked with smile.

"Yeah. It's very spicy. But delicious." She answered, then keep eating. He keep watching her with smile.

After they finished eating, Luo Wenjun paid the bill and left the restaurant with Wen Shan'er. They talking casually along the way, aftee a while, Wen Shan'er heard familiar voice called her.

"Second Miss!" Tianhao called her and approached her with his sword tied in his waist.

"Uncle guard!" Wen Shan'er called him softly.

"I'm sorry Miss, Master asked me to pick you because Master has something important to attend." He walked towards her, stared at Luo Wenjun for a while, then turned his head to look at Wen Shan'er.

"Hmm, okay. By the way, uncle guard, this is Young Master Luo Wenjun. He accompanied me waiting for you." She introduced Luo Wenjun to him.

"Thankyou for accompanied Miss this time. Please ask anything you want, Wen Family will fulfill it with our best." He said. He has served his master for a long time, so he knew that his master didn't want to owe debt to anyone, so he said it and tell his master afterwards.

"It was nothing, we participated in the same competition, so it can be said an acquaitance. I'm doing this for the Lady because it's dangerous if she stays alone. Then, i'll take my leave first. Miss Wen Shan'er, see you later." He said to her.

"Okay, be careful on the way." She said. Then she saw Luo Wenjun took his sword and flew.

"Let's go, Miss. Master is waiting for you in the inn." Tianhao said to her with a smile.

"Okay" She answered. Then they got into the carriage and drove toward the inn.
