Chapter 24

My opponent quickly dashed in my direction.

I stayed in the same spot staying light on my feet.

Once my opponent came close to me he lifted the dagger on his right hand and tried to stab my chest.

I jumped to the left and grabbed and using my right hand, I grabbed my opponents wrist.

Using my left hand I punched him on the chin.

Once I did so some type of health bar appeared on top of my opponent.

I barely took one tenth of his overall HP.

After my opponent noticed that I wasn't paying attention to me, he threw one of his daggers at my face.

Having noticed it late, I dodged it, but it slightly grazed my cheek.

I looked at my HP bar and saw that my opponent depleted half my HP bar.

'How is that fair?' I thought as I sighed.

My opponent then threw his other knife at me, to which I easily dodged.

Since he didn't have any more knives in hand, I rushed towards him.

Just when I was close enough was in the middle of throwing a punch, he took out a dagger out of nowhere and sliced at my neck.

With that I lost my first match.

My second match went similarly.

The only difference was that the person used an axe instead of daggers.

For my third and final match I went up against woman who had sky blue hair and eyes.

She felt as if she were a some type of knight.

She used a double edged sword as well.

As the match started I changed up my stance.

I decided to use a more relaxed stance this time.

A stance that would help me move a lot agilely.

Once the match started she slowly moved towards me, slowly taking out her sword.

I stayed in the same place, jumping on my tippy toes.

She brought up her sword and swung it down towards me.

I dodged it and in one fluid motion, I also kicked her head.

She easily brought back her sword and blocked my kick.

I then brought my leg down and punched her face.

Thankfully, my attack went through this time.

Once again I only took one tenth of the health bar.

This time I didn't stop attacking and went in for another attack.

I kicked her stomach and created some distance between us.

This time I did two tenths of damage.

Using similar attacks, I ended up defeating my opponent for the first time.

With that I ended up exiting the capsule and leaving the arcade.

I then took of to the apartment to rest.
