Briel rushed to the Erland residence. She saw every corner of the room that caught her eye. She looked up at the stairs and a woman who looked to be in her 30s was walking down the stairs. Briel rushed over to the woman.
"Hello," said Briel to the woman.
"Hello, Miss. Do you need anything?" the woman asked. She smiled at Briel's appearance. She knew that Briel was her master's wife because her master had previously informed the woman who was none other than the housekeeper of the Erland residence. There was only one female housemaid, and two male security guards working at the Erland residence.
"I need a bedroom. Em... I mean, I wonder, where is the cold man's bedroom?" asked Briel.
"Cold man?" the woman looked confused at Briel's words. He didn't understand who the cold man Briel was referring to?
"You want to go to Mr. Erland's bedroom?" the woman asked.
"Hmm... Yes," answered Briel, nodding her head. There was no mistaking it, the man who had just officially become her husband today was indeed named Erland. Previously, Briel had forgotten what her husband's name was.
"Hmm... Alright, let me walk you. Didn't you bring your suitcase?" the woman asked.
"Suitcase?" Briel tried to remember something.
"Yes, Miss. You will be staying here from today onwards, that's what Mr. Erland told me," the woman said.
Briel smiled awkwardly. She forgot about it and didn't think about it at all. Because Briel was immediately asked to come with Erland by her father and she didn't bring anything to Erland's residence.
"Hmm... I forgot I left my suitcase where I live. I'll take it later," said Briel.
"Okay. Come here, Miss," the woman led Briel upstairs and showed Erland's bedroom.
As soon as she entered the bedroom, Briel immediately frowned.
'The atmosphere in this bedroom is very boring. I think it looks the same as the occupants. It's boring,' thought Briel.
"Okay, do you need anything?" the woman asked.
"Hmm... orange juice, I'm thirsty," said Briel.
"Okay, Miss. I will prepare," said the woman.
"Oh, yes. What's your name?" asked Briel as the woman was about to leave Erland's bedroom.
"I'm Lely, Miss. I'm a housemaid here," said Lely.
"Oh, okay," said Briel, and Lely came out of the bedroom.
Briel looked around the room. Her gaze fell on something that caught her attention. There is a work desk that is quite far from its position and there is a small filing cabinet behind it. Looks like there's another room there.
Briel rushed to the room. Sure enough, it was indeed a dressing room. Briel looked at the dress that was still clinging to her body. She couldn't possibly continue wearing the dress and she wanted to replace it with something more casual.
Briel rushed to the cupboard that was there. She opened the closet and it was full of Erland's clothes. Whether it's hanging neatly or neatly folded. There were two fairly large wardrobes and Briel looked at the other, which was also full of Erland's clothes and hardly any free space. Briel looked into another cupboard, where Erland's shoes were neatly arranged. The room was filled with things but looked neat. Briel saw there was a door. She approached the door and saw the bathroom there. Quite big, maybe even bigger than the dressing room.
Briel went to the bathroom. She closed the bathroom door and took off her dress. She chose to clean her body first because it was late.
After taking a shower, Briel looked for Erland's t-shirts in the closet, t-shirts she might be able to wear and she saw that there were some new t-shirts in the cupboard. However, Briel was confused. She has no pants to complete her look.
Briel took a white shirt, put it on, and looked at herself in the mirror.
"He's a monster. This shirt is huge, my goodness," said Briel as she straightened her clothes.
"But it's helped me quite a bit. I don't need to wear pants. Tonight, I think I'm going to Daddy's house to get my clothes," said Briel.
Yes, because Erland's body was tall, his clothes covered Briel's body almost knee-high. Just a little above Briel's knee.
Briel rolled up the sleeves of her shirt and tied her hair. After that, she returned to the bedroom and saw that there was already a glass of orange juice she asked for earlier. There are snacks there too.
Briel drank the juice.
'It's very quiet here, but I don't know what will happen if that guy comes back later,' murmured Briel.
Briel imagined that if Erland came back later, Erland would do something bad to her. Considering that she was now Erland's wife, Erland probably dared to do things that crossed the line. What's more, Briel thought that Erland even dared to harass her that night even though they didn't know each other, so it was very likely that Erland would be more daring to Briel now that Briel was his wife.
"I'll make him regret!" said Briel, annoyed.
Briel took out her mobile phone and saw a message from Clara. Clara asked if she had arrived at the Erland residence? The message was two hours ago and Briel just found the message, so she just read it.
Briel pressed a call to Clara's contact but Clara didn't answer the call. She also sent a message to Clara that tonight she would return to Clara's house to get clothes and maybe the things she needed for her painting activities.
Yes, Briel likes to paint. She took painting school to channel her hobby and talent, and now she is focusing on her painting school. Her skills are well supported and she can deepen her talent beyond just a hobby. Of course, Bram and Clara supported what Briel liked. What's more, Bram and Clara had seen this talent in Briel since Briel was a child.
Don't know from whom Briel's skill was passed down? Bram was not even happy and had no talent for painting. Maybe for a masterpiece, Bram would have liked it, but he had no painting skills. Could it be from Briel's late biological mother, namely Anita who was none other than Bram's first wife? However, everyone knows that Anita is struggling in the modeling world. However, that might be the case if Anita did have a hidden talent when she was alive.
Yes, Anita is Briel's biological mother, the woman who gave birth to Briel 21 years ago. Anita married Bram before Bram married Clara.
