The Next Step
Zero sighed.
The wedding had been simple, short, and sweet.
His sister was married now.
He could hardly believe it.
Right now, he and Lily were just spending time together at a beach.
After leaving the newly wedded couple, Zero took Lily out on a date.
They had gone for high tea at some cute little cafe that Lily gushed over and now, were just walking hand-in-hand while admiring the scenery around them.
Lily had noted that Zero appeared to be a bit more subdued than normal, so she was being extra cheerful to try and bring him out of it. He didn't react much, other than follow beside her without complaint.
Finally, unable to stand it, she stopped and turned to face him, her hands on her waist, "Zero! Snap out of it!"
Zero blinked at her.
He looked at the normally docile and energetic woman glaring at him ferociously, her chest heaving up and down as she huffed unhappily with a little seductive pout of her lips.
