Chapter 8

I entered the house with a smile on my face. I have good news. I searched for mom and aunt and told them the good news. "Awww!!!....  Deary I'm so happy for you!! " exclaimed mom. "Yes we know how much you've always wanted to get that black belt " added my aunt. That's right. I got my black belt in Ninjutsu . Now I'm a true ninja. On the inside I was squealing long an idiot but on the outside I was playing it cool....

        "Hai!  I'm so happy. I finally got what I always wanted!" I replied. "Anyways..... Gotta go" I concluded before going up to my room. I had about five hours before I had to go to the venue I was supposed to meet Melissa at by 7:00pm so I just need to by some time.

        "hmmm...  What to do-what to do..." I pondered on what to do in the mean time to pass time. I've got an idea. I had over to my disk track and select a few movies that seem interesting. I plan on watching them for 2-3 hours...  OK 2 hours, then meditate for 40 minutes, read novels for 30 minutes, spar for another then sleep for 20 minutes, waking up with 30 minutes to spare, take a shower put on some presentable clothes then move out to meet Melissa and her buddies at the sun and moon cafe before we head out to club 20.I'm a pretty strategic person.

       Soon enough, after all my plan had been put into action,it's already time to leave and I set out to take a long hot bath,  and by long I mean 15 minutes.

       After that I blow dry my hair and get my clothes from the dresser which consist of black skinny jeans, brown combat boots, a black tank top and an extremely baggy cardigan with a hood (also black).

      I have a bad feeling about today. There's just something off about the air and I send something big is going to happen but I put it at the back of my mind for now. I wanna concentrate solely on Melissa and get big day today. Add a matter of fact, just to be safe, I'm bringing my dagger along. Just to be safe! You'll never know what creatures lurk out there.

     Putting on my underwear and clothes I wear my combat boots and tuck the dagger in a little pocket hole in the boots. I take my phone and wallet, brush my hair, poor on my contacts and head downstairs.

     I went straight to the kitchen and poured some blood into a flask, hanging out like a bag, for 'emergence' purposes.

    I didn't find mom or aunt anywhere do I lay them a note letting them know where I was.

   Be back soon. I've gone out with Melissa and her friends for her birthday party. Don't look for me. if I'm not home yet, don't get caught.

     I place it on the counter top and put something heavy to wedge it so it won't fly off. I switch to human and leave the house, not forgetting to lock it before I leave...
