Chapter 1

Year 1866

        ... Asher, now a full grown woman, looked back at the past and how things had changed so much since that unfortunate day.

         She could still see her father as he was decapitated right in front of her eyes. Seeing your father die like that is not a pleasurable experience for a young girl of 3.

      She reminisced on that unfortunate event, all the time paying close attention to the boar that was looking for food, unknown to it that it would soon be the food.

       She waited stealthily and as soon as she could get a good aim at its head she let her arrow loose.

       The boar fell with a trump as the sedated arrow took immediate effect. A small smile found its way to her face as she silently rejoiced over her kill.

       As silent and fast as the wind she was at the boars side in nano seconds. She kicked it to make sure it was dead, although she didn't need to, with her heightened hearing she could make out that it was asleep.

        Since she didn't need it as alive she got to the next part of the procedure, draining it dry.

       With the speed of a snake she had clamped her extended fangs on the neck of the beast and was sucking fast and hard, not wanting to waste any more time than was necessary.

        After her snack she proceeded to carrying the dead animal and depositing it in the nearest stop. Her mothers kitchen.
