Solar Eclipse

Once the search began, Genji even used his navigation skill.

With the navigation skill already at level 39, finding something as simple as an energybending scroll/book is very easy. It's like finding a glow stick in the dark

However, despite using his navigation skill to find the energybending book/scroll, it pointed him to nothing. In the entire world, not a single energybending book/scroll appeared.

Frowning, Genji changed the focus of search from an energybending book/scroll, to a finding a book/scroll that talks about energybending.

Sure enough, there were some books within the library, numbering only three.

Following his navigation skill's directions, Genji grabbed all three books in just thirty minutes and instantly began reading them. He memorized everything in the books and slowly made sense of everything he read.

'I need to concentrate for this,' thought Genji as he put back the books from where he got them from.

Since he memorized the energybending books, Genji decided to look at some other scrolls and books which he had been interested in since he had discovered his system. His eyes lit up and he used his navigation skill to look for said books and scrolls.

Another half an hour passed by and Genji grinned as he looked at the books inside his inventory.

Lao Ge's manuscript that is filled with his Insights into immortality, Guru Laghima's Insights into flight and airbending, and books filled with the philosophy of Yin and Yang.

The Yin and Yang philosophies was for Genji to have a better grasp over Lightning Generation and attempt to use the same philosophies in his other Bending Arts.

Maybe even his martial arts and staff/spear arts.

Once all the books were in his possession, Genji headed over to meet up with Katara and the rest, saving the books for later.

Finding Katara and the rest as they were heading to the Fire Nation's area, Genji followed behind them.

Sensing someone walking behind them, Katara turned around and was pleasantly surprised that it was Genji. With a smile, Katara walked over to Genji and talked with him.

"Genji, where were you?" asked Katara, glad to see Genji again.

"In the Air section," Genji said before looking around and finding a pedestal not too far from them.

'There it is.'

Walking over to the pedestal, Genji looked at what was being kept within the pedestal.

A paper that was burnt around it's edges and talked about the darkest day of the Fire Nation.

"The Air section? Do you mean the area that contains everything related to air nomads?"

Raising her eyebrows in surprise, Katara was surprised to find out that Genji had gone over to that section. Since he's a waterbender, Katara had expected for Genji to be heading to the Water section, yet that wasn't the case.

"Why did you head over there, Genji?" curiously asked Katara.

"I was looking at the meditation and spiritual practices of the Air Nomads," replied Genji without looking at her. Instead, Genji took out a thin book from inside his clothes and showed it to Katara.

"[Conceptualization of Yin and it's Forces]?"

With a weird look on her face, Katara passed the book back to Genji and wondered why he needed something like that. However, she didn't pry any further and instead asked what he was currently doing.

"What is that paper?"

Genji smiled and passed the paper to Katara, "This paper contains a dark secret that not even the Fire Nation wanted other people to find out. See how it's burnt around the edges, this might be one of the few things that survived the fire that Wan Shi Tong mentioned.

Which means…?"

Rubbing her chin as she pondered what Genji was trying to get at. She furrowed her eyebrows and after a couple of seconds, she figured it out.

"The Fire Nation is trying to hide their weaknesses!"

"That's right," said Genji with a nod as he took back the paper. "This paper may be one of the few things that denote a weakness of the Fire Nation."

"Great! That means-!"

Before Katara could finish what she was going to say, Genji pressed his lips against Katara, surprising her.

Outside of the library, Toph was currently resting on the sand with her head against Appa.

Opening her mouth wide as she yawned, Toph scratched her stomach and tossed and turned as she felt rather iffy.

Ever since her and Genji couldn't orgasm because of such a short trip, she has been feeling rather pent up and irritated.

Shh…

"Am I hearing things?"

Getting off of Appa, Toph was surprised to hear the sound of what seemed to be whirlwinds and sand moving.

Suddenly sensing something with her seismic sense, Toph jumped up on her feet and looked around warily.

"We're surrounded…" Toph said, jokingly talking with Appa.

"Get him!"

Raising her eyebrow, Toph made a quick move after sensing a sand attack heading straight for Appa. Acting quick, Toph jumped forward, prepared to block the attack for Appa.

"Appa!"

Boom!

Punching forward with great strength, Toph launched a large amount of sand out with great force towards the sandbenders that attacked both her and Appa.

Bang!

With a swift attack from Toph, one sandbending ship was destroyed by a single strike from Toph.

"Looks like I found someone to vent my frustrations on," exclaimed Toph with a smirk on her face as she cracked her fingers.

"Take down the woman and let's take the animal! It's only one woman, we won't fail to capture that animal!"

With their lips interlocked, Katara was about to push Genji away because she was caught by surprise yet paused as she saw the seriousness in Genji's gaze..

Realizing that something must be wrong, Katara did nothing and when she relaxed, Genji separated himself from her.

"What was...?"

"It's Wan Shi Tong, he was just spying on us," said Genji as he approached the area where Wan Shi Tong was at just now. Alas, Wan Shi Tong left no track behind as he moved silently and creeped between the bookshelves.

"Wan Shi Tong is spying on us?" asked Katara, feeling rather creeped out.

Genji shook his head and showed her the burnt paper once more, "Rather than spying, he's keeping an eye on us. He doesn't want his books to be damaged once more like the time the Fire Nation burnt everything related to the Fire Nation."

"But then why did you stop me from speaking? I wasn't going to mention anything about that," stated Katara, feeling a bit confused.

"Because he doesn't want the knowledge within his library to be used for harm. He's a pacifist, and what you were about to say was something along the lines of using the knowledge within this single piece of paper to take down the Fire Nation," said Genji as he looked around, sensing to see whether Wan Shi Tong was nearby.

Finally understanding why Genji kissed her, Genji felt a little relieved that they weren't caught by Wan Shi Tong, yet a little disappointed because Genji didn't kiss her for a different purpose.

"Come on, let's get moving so we can get out of here," said Genji as he pulled Katara forward to rejoin with Aang and Jin were busy talking with each other.

Feeling a lot better compared to before, Jin was smiling some more now.

"Let's get moving," said Genji, not willing to wait for Wan Shi Tong to appear once more when the others say something that can get them attacked by Wan Shi Tong.

Although Genji is already sufficiently strong enough to fight Wan Shi Tong, he'd rather not fight him should something happen to the library because of Wan Shi Tong's death. He'd rather that something not happen to knowledge all around the world because of Wan Shi Tong's death.

"Follow me, I know the perfect place to check the contents of this paper," said Genji as he used his Navigation skill once more and looked for the Planetary Calendar Room.

Taking turn after turn as they walked for who knows how long, Genji and the rest finally arrived before the Planetary Calendar Room.

"This is…"

Katara looked at the room in amazement, not being able to believe that something such as this machine could exist.

"Sokka would have loved this…" muttered Katara as she approached the center of the room and looked at the ceiling that was adorned with stars.

"Wow!"

"How do we use this?"

Both Jin and Aang entered the room and looked around excitedly. With one exclaiming in surprise and the other already curious how to operate it.

"We operate this Planetary Calender Machine by turning these dials in the middle. Each one of these dials represent; the 12 traditional animals of the Earth Kingdom Zodiac, Day, Month, and Year," explained Genji as he looked at the burnt paper in his hand before stuffing it into his shirt and turning the dials.

The machine began to move, creaking and clicking of the turning gears in the machine.

The moon and sun in the roof began to move and under Genji's control, the two eventually overlapped and darkened the room in an instant.

"A Total Solar Eclipse!"

Jin exclaimed loudly in shock.

"My dad talked about this once, he told me a fairy tale about a firebender that lost his firebending when the moon devoured the sun," Jin explained as he raised his eyebrows.

Nodding to Jin's words, Genji said, "That's right, in the event of a solar eclipse, firebenders lose their ability to firebend because they draw their power from the sun.

Let us see when the next solar eclipse will be, that will be the most optimal time to visit the Fire Nation."

After being careful with his wording, Genji began to turn the dial and searched for the solar eclipse.

A couple of minutes later and Genji finally found the solar eclipse that will be happening soon.

"It's over ten months away," mentioned Genji as he wrote down the exact date it will happen. With the date written already, Genji turned to face the other three there with him.

"Do you all wish to leave now?" Genji asked.

Turning to look at each other, the three of them eventually nodded.

Katara had already looked through various waterbending scrolls and had pocketed four scrolls depicting moves she's never seen.

That same went for Jin, however, it was different for this young boy.

Compared to Katara, Jin already decided to wholeheartedly focus on the style imparted to him by Genji. He only checked and grabbed firebending moves which he believed he could use as a comparison to Genji's style.

Aang didn't have much to check in the first place, he only wished to read about other Avatars and the past of bending.

Since they were all done with their respective searches, Genji led them out towards the area where they first arrived.

Waiting for them near the exit was Wan Shi Tong.

"Are you not going to take away your other friend?" Wan Shi Tong asked.

Genji shook his head and answered, "Professor Zei has a great thirst for knowledge that is comparable to none. He would be willing to die surrounded by books compared to seeking survival."

"Hm. Admirable human," Wan Shi Tong said, praising Professor Zei. "Very well then. I believe I must thank you for not destroying any of my precious property.

You all may leave now."

Wan Shi Tong moved over to a side, yet he did not leave, he kept his eyes on everyone as they were heading up a rope and out of the library.

The moment they left, Wan Shi Tong turned his body and went on to search for Professor Zei.

After finding Professor Zei reading various books and surrounded by piles of books, even Wan Shi Tong couldn't help but feel flabbergasted at the scene.

Leaving alone Professor Zei, Wan Shi Tong went on about his usual routine of keeping order within the library.
