Khloe's POV
It was the same woman from earlier who had talked down on me.
"I never thought I would meet you… not even in a place like this." She smirked, crossing her hands on chest.
"When did you return?" Nevian asked, pulling away from me.
Alternating my gaze from the lady to Nevian, I tried to read a meaning to their conversation but I couldn't.
The only thing I could make out was they seemed to have known each other before now and might have quite a history together.
"I will take my leave now." I tried to walk away but Nevian grabbed my hand, causing me to halt in my movement.
Leaning downwards, he whispered, "I'm sorry, Khloe, I have to introduce you as my wife."
He didn't allow me to assimilate what he had just said before grabbing me by my waist and pulling me to himself so that our chest was touching each other.
"I found a wife already." He said and immediately, gasps erupted from all directions.
