Khloe's POV
Nevian's suggestion of revealing my face to the world didn't sit well with me a bit not until I had a long conversation with his father.
Mr. Allerick was nice and accommodating, making me wish I had a father like him.
If he was my father, I doubt if I would just be starting off my business. I should have gone far by now and made a name for myself.
"And at the same time, I'm grateful he is not my father." I muttered, rubbing my palms together.
If he was my father like I had wished, I doubt if I would have dreamt of making a name for myself when I had everything at my beck and call.
Pushing these thoughts off my head, I began to drum my fingers against the table, trying to come up with a scenario for Nevian's plan but my head was blank.
And for the first time since I began living with Nevian, I couldn't wait until I got home to have a conversation with him.
It was past nine pm yet Nevian was yet to return home.
