Lance's words made me still for a moment.
Did he find out?
If he did, how did he go about it?
Questions kept pouring into my head but I had no answer for any of them, increasing my frustration.
To delight, Lance stormed out of the office without causing further issue but since I was bothered, I had to go after him to find out what he knew.
Just when the elevator door was about to slide shut, I dashed in, standing next to him with my hands in my pockets and my gaze fixed on the door.
"What do you want from me?" I asked with a grave tone, shifting my weight from one leg to the other.
"What business do you have with Khloe, why do you keep seeing her? By any means are you trying to make a mockery of me?"
Relieved that he knew nothing about the contract marriage, I took in a deep breath of relief, pushing my hand into my hair.
"You're married, you should stick to your wife."
