Her fears

"You may now kiss the bride," the priest said. Harvey and Queen both kissed for a while and the priest declared them married. They were now two standing in front of the alter. Two married couples but complete strangers. "What next?" Queen asked while staring at her husband, she had this strange look.

"I assume knowing ourselves cause that's the next move." Harvey said politely.

Jack who had been observing them for a while left his table and soon joined them, he presented his congratulatory message and stepped out of the place, he knew they needed some privacy to know more about themselves. "For the moment we know just our names, with time we will learn to know more about each other." Harvey mentioned.

"That's true."

The day was well spent, they received lots of gifts from their friends and family. It was time for them to get to the hotel, reserved for them by Bernard. But they were not really interested, he had to force them to get there, he told them as a married couple who just got married, they had to spend the night at a hotel and he reserved a room in one of the most luxurious hotels of the area. Harvey and Queen had no choice other than accepting it. They were soon driven to the hotel by the driver. On arriving, they noticed the room was well decorated with flowers and little balloons. On one of the chairs they were nightwares, a pink short nightgown for Queen and a blue jacket for Harvey. All tired, Harvey asked to take his bath, but before that Queen needed to get to the restroom, all shy she couldn't undress herself in front of Harvey, she rather went to the restroom before removing her clothes, this left a smile on Harvey's face. No matter how hard she tried to hide it away from him she was definitely going to open it for him some other day, but he had no time for that as he was concerned with his business.

Done in the restroom, she came back and climbed on the bed, while Harvey went down undressing himself, she was shocked. "I thought you were going to do that in the bathroom?" Queen said politely.

"And why would I do that? Aren't we married? And why should I stress out?" he exclaimed.

"Yes we are married, but we agreed to give ourselves some time before acting like a real couple," she said.

"Exactly, me undressing myself in front of you got no meaning okay. So chill." Harvey mentioned.

He left with a smile on his face. Although he had no idea of who Queen was exactly, he found her more friendly than Sarah. She was only 3 years older than Sarah and seemed to be more muted than she was. "I think I'm beginning to like this girl, there is something about her that keeps me focused her," he mumbled. He finished with his bath and was soon in the room. He wore his pajamas and soon got to bed. There again, Queen was worried, she thought one person was going to have the bed and the other person slept on the couch. Well, it was impossible, Harvey was never going to do that and again he had plans of sleeping close to her that night.

Jack soon arrived home, Sarah was in her room and heard when he made his entry, she jumped out of her bed and soon joined her dad in the living room. "You are back dad, I was worried, I thought something bad happened to you." Sarah said coldly.

"And why would you think such things? Didn't I tell you that I was going for Queen's wedding?" he mumbled.

"Oh dad spell me that, what do you call a wedding? She does not even know him but she accepted his proposals, I'm sure she is doing this just for his money and nothing more."

"Sarah, Sarah, Sarah..... How many times did I call you? If you know what is good for you, you better hide off your face. Queen did not marry him because of the money and all that as you think. No Queen accepted that because she knows the pains I would have gone through if she refused. I pray God bless her new home."

"Amen." she said furiously.

"I'm not in the mood for all this okay, I had a stressful day and I need some rest, see you tomorrow." Jack said. The next thing he did was move to his room. Even though his daughter was on the edge of ruining everything for him, he was not still angry at her, on the contrary, he felt pity for her, on his way to his room he remembered he had to ask her a few questions. "You never told me why you suddenly cancelled your wedding, I hope where ever you are, you are secured." he said and then locked up himself in his room without giving the opportunity for Sarah to express herself. "Why would dad ask me a question and not interested in the response? Well dad if you must know, yes I am secured and my marriage won't be like Queen's wedding, I'll get to know my man before we plan on getting married." she yelled out. Jack heard everything and did not say a word, he was not ready for an argument that night, as he earlier said, all he needed at that moment was rest.

Back with the Lee's, their car just entered the premises and everyone resumed to their post except Geraldine who had been seating near the balcony leading to the garden, she was all lost. Bernard called her twice but she did not hear out. He approached her and tapped her. "What's going on? I called you twice but no response from you. You look worried why?" he inquired

"I don't know what to say, Mr. Bernand, I'm worried about Harvey, I want him to be happy." Geraldine said.

"That's what we all what. I'm sure he is working on that."

When Harvey lost his mom at the age of 7, Geraldine was the only one who took care of him, she raised him like a son and feared he had taken the wrong decision. She couldn't help but get worried when she heard he was getting married to a stranger. What if she wasn't the right person for him?
