Confusing Relationship
What King Sek had heard from his mother's maid weighed heavy on his heart. How had he missed the fact that there was someone in his mother's room? The guard had reported nothing, her personal assistant the same thing... And the one that surprised him the most was that Ling had said nothing.
Sek was sure... somehow, that the wizard knew about this masked man's presence.
When he returned to his chambers, he had told Brien to find the wizard for him. Sek had told Ceri to come as well. She had heard what the maid said to him from the beginning to the end.
Sek used that as an excuse, but for some reason, he just wanted her to be there with him. Things concerning his mother had started to get overwhelming and Sek thought that he needed any support he could get right now.
Even in the disturbed state that Sek's mind was in, any time he would think of Ceri, the lady he had just seen in his mother's hospital room, a smile would want to appear on his lips.
