The Lingering Shadow

Ava did not go back to the top floor, not knowing whether he had left or not. She took the wine-stained shirt and slowly apply the stain remover in the sink, before putting it in the washer. It would be done and dried before long.

Damn Franklin, he only knew how to cause troubles for her. What did he want from her? Didn't he say that they have nothing to do with each other? Why was he following her around like a shadow?

Twenty minutes later, Franklin received his laundered shirt, and about an hour later, he, alongside Yasmin, returned to French Villa.

Upon entering the villa, they saw that someone was already waiting for them in the living room.

"Hello, dad."

"Good evening, Mr. Larson."
