The forbidden door. II

The quietness of the environment was deafening, and the darkness in it was blinding. Archer could only wonder what this place was, and why it was in their house. He walked slowly, eyes turning to every direction like he was keeping record of everything he saw. There wasn’t much to be seen though.

“There’s no time to be comfortable Archer” Leelam’s voice came from ahead of him, which made him flinch a bit. He exhaled.

“What is this place Leelam?” Archer questioned when the man began walking again. Archer walked faster to try to keep up with his pace to avoid pissing the old man off.

“You’ll see when we get there” Leelam responded plainly.

“How do we have such a place in our village and in our house too? Does anyone else know about this?” Archer bombarded.

Leelam stopped walking, pinching the skin between his eye brows. “When did you become this inquisitive Archer?”

Archer kept mute and continued walking, realizing that Leelam was in no mood to entertain questions.
