Quest of Valor....

Eroberer assessed his quest panel as he headed out of the village,he had earlier on paid a visit to the village's training grounds for his class change.

There the instructor had tested him on his swordmanship,before issuing him a task of valor. He was asked to bring back the heads of two goblins.

It was rare for humanoid monsters from the wasteland to infiltrate the kingdom's territory due to its proximity to the wastelands.

Eroberer thought as he dashed towards the direction of the goblins. He was clad in his rare leather armor since he had not wanted to attract the villagers attention with his legendary six piece draconic armor set.

Its Dragon Might, though it was from a minor dragon was enough to scare them shit.

With his eighty percent increase in movement speed while out of combat, from his skill phantom splash,it only took him close to have an hour to arrive near the goblins cave.

The entrance was well hidden by vines and shrubs at the foot of a small hill.

Knowing well that there was a chance that the system won't allow him to change armors when he got in the cave, Eroberer chose to put on the draconic set of armor before cutting his way in with his draconic pair of short swords.

With his current monstrous speed and strength,he knew it would take him no time to clear out the cave.

The moment he got through,a couple of goblins saw him. They quickly moved to attack him but the minor dragonic might emanating from his armor made them halt as the shivered in fear.

Eroberer chose not to attack,he wanted to see how things would play out.

One of goblins made a shrieking noise as Eroberer inspected them.

He presumed it was calling for reinforcement.

He deduced that the several goblins before him were all a mixture of goblin guards and scouts.

There were a total of ten after he did a head count.

Having decided to play along,he pulled out the wooden chair he had borrowed from his inns room,and sat down with a poker face on.

Knowing well that no matter where one went, dragons were viewed as the overlords,he knew that he would be dump if he didn't exploit these goblins.

A minute later,a group of hobgoblins,that a one and half a meter tall,rushed towards the entrance.

A quick head count revealed that they were twenty of them.

"Huh..."

"That ten thousand experience points for me, four hundred Reputation Points, two hundred silver coins and twenty soldier tokens..."

Eroberer started calculating his gains. He was now sure that the goblin guards shriek was not for reinforcement but a report of a dragon's presence in their leir.

The hobgoblins charge was lead by a human sized highgoblin.

The group of twenty one stopped a distance from him,they were all weary of him.

None of them knew why fate had decided to play with them and send a dragon to their doorsteps.

Eroberer maintained his poker, even though inwardly he was bitterly cursing after he 8nspected the goblin's leader.

"Did I learn out of luck..."

"All am I too lucky..."

Eroberer had to struggle hard to maintain his poker face as the high goblin,Wrath,took a step forward.

"Respected One..."

Wrath, the goblin leader said while stuttering...

"This lowly one greets thee..."

Wrath said as knelt, the other goblins seeing their mighty leader kneel,they all fell to their knees and knowtowed to Eroberer.

Eroberer was taking by surprise when he heard the high goblin speak the human language.

He knew that humanoid monsters could not speak the human language. The fact that this spoke it,and so perfectly at that made him curious.

"Hurrmph..!"

Eroberer hurrmph in disdain.

This sent cold shivers down Wrath's spine,he didn't know what he had done or said wrong.

"What makes a meager dirt like you think that you could address me..."

Wrath felt that his world spin from the arrogance in Eroberer voice. He knew that today was the day he met his forefathers.

"Luckily for you...."

"Am in a good mood today...."

Eroberer could peak the relief body language from Wrath and the other goblins.

None of them dared to make even a tiny squeak since they feared it would offend them.

"Thank you for your mercy my Lord...."

Wrath quickly said as he to now know towed like his subordinates.

He didn't care about their view at the moment. All he willed for was for this dragon lord to leave.

"But since am here..."

The goblins heart fell from the way Eroberer said those words...

"This uncle won't mind having a peak at your treasures..."

"Fuck...!"

"Uncle my foot...!"

"Shameless....!"

"Greedy bastard....!"

Wrath cursed mentally at the greedy dragon.

He had always heard that if all greediest living beings were to be ranked,the dragons would not be in that list,since their greediness surpassed any numerical value or scale.

If a dragon had the means,they would steal the world and add it to their private collection of priceless treasures.

Even though he knew well what the dragon wanted,Wrath couldn't object,and so he turned towards the hobgoblins behind him and had them retrieve all their treasures and the loot they had taken from all the human settlements, villages and caravans they had pillaged.

He even had them retrieve the two hundred women they had abducted for their pleasure.
