Chapter 23

As soon as Socrates sees Dysnomia disappear, he feels guilty so he knocks on the orphanage door and asks for Dysnomia. A few minutes later, Dysnomia arrives in the reception and notices Socrates nervous expression and posture, he seems fidgety. Socrates isn't facing her when she starts to speak.

"What would you like Socrates?"Dysnomia asks him wearily.

He suddenly turns his attention to her and says, "Dysnomia...I just...I couldn't not tell you...about...Enzo. He has lost his memory of you, and I believe I know who's at fault."

"Who?"Dysnomia asks impatiently as she walks closer to him.

"Your mother,"Socrates says cautiously, "because she felt the need to clarify that he had an accident so that's why his memory's gone." Dysnomia nods and walks away with tears brimming in her eyes, slight sobs making their way through at odd intervals.
