Jacob POV✯

I went back to the dorm after soccer practice to see the girl I want been fingered. "Can't you'll fuck somewhere other then our dorm?" I said in an irritated voice and a bit jealous. "Oh shut up Jacob" really? "Silas im gonna bath".

She goes the the bathroom and I take quick glances at Silas putting new sheets for her bed.

She comes out of the bathroom and god she looks hot. They both leave and I just sleep knowing this is just a one sided love and she already has a boyfriend.

Wait do I love her!?

And I finally allowed darkness to overtake me.

❁Lily POV ❁

I woke up to my annoying alarm going of. Today is finally Friday. I'm going to be leaving school early so I can check my mafia, new recruits and also go home to my father. I might even go assassin today.

I got out of bed and went straight to bathroom. I strip from my clothes and hop into the shower. Use my vanilla and lavender scented shower gel. I washed my hair. I get out of the bathroom with the towel wrapped around me and go to pick an outfit.

After picking my outfit I went to my vanity and started my makeup and just curled my hair. I picked out something black since i wouldn't have time to change and then go to the warehouse.



I sent my other car with my guards to get fixed since my last mission caused it to get bullet holes. So today I'm riding in my Audi R8. It's a matt black with gold linings on it.

I drive to the college and as usual the stares. I meet my gang and we start our small talks. "Lil where's your boyfriend? " I simply shrug knowing he is gone to the warehouse. They just nod. I go to my first class and it's boring as fuck.

The same with the rest of the classes. I'm suppose to go to three more classes but I'm leaving to check on my mafia. I inform the office and leave to go to my car. I drive out of the college and head to main building which is out of town.

I stopped at Starbucks and Subway since I missed lunch. Driving out of Starbucks I noticed a black SUV following me. It's been following me from the time I left college but I just shrugged it of.

I drive to an Alley and stop grabbed my gun and putting it in the back of my boots. I step out of the car and just then 8 guys step out. I groan as they step forward. I'd be lying if I said they were tiny. But damn they look like some bodybuilder.

"What do you want? " I say in an stern voice. They all chuckle. "Ona malenʹkaya devochka , vy uvereny , chto ona Donna? " damn fucking Russians. "Nu , ty tupyye ublyudki , ne dumayete , chto eto nemnogo seksualist , chtoby vy skazali , tak kak ya sobirayusʹ pnutʹ tvoi zadnitsy"

They looked shocked knowing I can speak Russian. They all step front and pull out there guns. Fuck I didn't put a silencer. They start shooting at me and I dive behind some sort of wall. I quickly stand up and shoot 3 in the head and the other 5 in the chest.

"Lily? " oh fuck it can't be him it's my mind isn't? "Lil? " I turned around and my face pales when I see Jacob. Oh god what excuse am I going to use now? "Hey " I say with smile. "Lily how did you kill them all and why do you have a gun? " I smile and shrug. "Umm I take self defence classes and my mum used to take me to a shooting range when I was smaller" I say losing my smile when I spoke about my mother.

"Okay do you need a ride home? " I shake my head and get inside my car driving off. I park a few blocks away from my building and start crying. Today is my mother's death anniversary. I was the reason she died.

"Mum where are you? " I asked in my eight year old voice. "I'm on my way". She finally pulls up in the drive way and steps out. I run as fast as my little legs could go and jumps into her arms.

She starts kissing my face and telling me how much she missed me. "let's go inside baby it's cold outside" she says still carrying me in her arms. I nodded and we walked inside the house. Dad walked out of the kitchen with his apron on and kissed mum.

We all had dinner and we sat outside. I was playing with my dog and mum and dad was watching me with adoration in there eyes. I left illy and went to mum. "Mama I love you " she kissed my head. "I love you too baby" I giggle as she starts tinkling me. "Hey what about me don't you'll love me? " mama and I both shake our heads no.

Dad frowns and then bursts out laughing. Just then a man comes out with a gun and aims at me and fires but before the bullet hits me mama pushes me towards papa and the bullet hits her in her head. Papa pulls out his gun and shoots the gun and runs to mama.

I just stay there crying replaying that scene over and over again. After a few hours of crying since I wasn't suppose to leave school I drive to the warehouse. I meet Silas and he immediately runs and hugs me pulling me into my office. After a few minutes I pull away from the hug and look at him.

"What's wrong and why are you looking at me like someone died? " I ask him with the fakest smile. I know he knows what I'm going through today but I don't want anyone's sympathy. "Lil you know you my best friend that's why I agreed to do this stupid mission with you but I know how hard today is for you". My smile falls knowing where this is going. "Lil it's not your fault and your mother would be happy knowing her daughter is crying because she saved your life. "

My legs finally give up and I burst out in tears. Silas runs over to me wrapping his arms around me and I rest my head on his shoulder. We sit in that position for a few minutes and I just cry. "Si I'm sorry for bringing you into this stupid mission you have to do stupid things just for this mission".

" Li you my best friend I would do anything for you just remember you not alone" he says sternly and just then my dad walks in his eyes land on me and Silas. His face softens after seeing my condition. I'm pretty sure my eyes are bloodshot and my cheeks have dried tear stains.

Silas excuses himself and leaves the room. Dad walks over to me and hugs me tight. We sit there in silence knowing we both need it. "Bambina you know it wasn't you fault? " I shake my head no. "Papa you know if I took the bullet mama would still be here you wouldn't be miserable and everyone will be happy" dad stiffens "Lily I am not happy I know that it's because I'm over the moon knowing that my daughter has become an amazing women. "

I look at him and his eyes hold pain, hurt but also..... admiration and proudness. "Bambina I know it's hard but it wasnt your fault" I nod my head even though I'm still blaming myself.

We ended up talking about college and we went then went to the place mama made papa build just so I could play there without no worry. I ended up driving to my house and staying there for the weekend.

Yes Silas and I are best friends as much as I'm in college to finish my studies I'm also there to keep an eye on one of the professors. Silas got dragged into this because the professor mentioned I had a boyfriend so I had to get one and Silas been the amazing best friend did that. Everything was planned.

We doing this because we have to find out who the rat is in my mafia before I get crowned in the 3 weeks. Yes 3 fucking weeks. I also need to find out who the professor is giving the information to.

I get changed and go to sleep and allow darkness to consume me.
