It has been a month since they broke up, they were still living together. Becca's independence allowed her to live her days without Tommy, while Tommy was still not used to being without Becca. The things he used to always do with Becca, and when he had to do it himself, he still couldn't.
"No one can replace her," Tommy said to Drake, as they were having lunch together.
"Why don't you take her back? I mean, I believe that she still loves you too. What's more, you two still live together," Drake asked.
Tommy took a sip of his red wine as he savored every sweet taste of the drink. "It's not that easy, Drake. I can see she still hates me so much for what I did."
"You're not doing that with Paige after all, are you?"
"That's right. I ruined their friendship."
"Yeah. You did that and Paige too. You two are both shameless."
Tommy wasn't once offended by Drake's ramblings. He did allow it. But only with Drake could he confirm what he had done, while in front of Becca, he somehow felt annoyed and embarrassed.
"Does anyone know you broke up with her and are still living together?" asked Drake.
"Just you. Well, maybe Paige knows too. But about the part where we are still living together, I don't think she knows. But I don't care."
Drake was shocked because he was the only one who knew that Tommy and Becca had broken up. He thought some of their friends would know too.
"Why? Why just me?" asked Drake.
"Because there are other reasons that require that I can't tell the others."
"By the way, did you know that Becca was going to the same place as you?" Drake asked as his eyes stared at the entrance of the restaurant.
Curious about Drake's intentions, Tommy finally followed the direction of his friend's gaze. He saw Becca enter the restaurant with Ashley, the cafe owner who Becca often went to when she wanted to be alone. Tommy had never visited the place knowing that it was Becca's private place, but he still knew the owner.
"She never told me anymore where she was going," Tommy replied later. "Wait here, Drake." Tommy suddenly stood up and walked to the cashier.
When Tommy made sure Becca and Ashley were seated and choosing their menu, then Tommy spoke to the cashier.
"I'll pay for everything they ordered," Tommy said, pointing at his ex-girlfriend and Ashley.
"Alright, sir."
"Just take the rest for you," said Tommy. He handed her a few cash, quite a lot of which were sure to be left over. He then returned to the table where Drake was watching what Tommy was doing.
"You pay for them?" asked Drake.
"Yes, I am. I know this effort is not much for her. But at least I will start trying to get back her trust and then her love."
Drake shook his head, amazed at how badly Tommy wanted to get back to Becca. "I know you're sorry, Tommy. Boredom is a natural thing, you should face it, not do anything that hurts her."
"I know and I'm aware. That's why I'm willing to do anything, slowly."

When Becca and Ashley were about to pay their bills, she was surprised that the food and drinks they ordered had already been paid for.
"Who is that man? Can you describe him to me?" asked Becca.
And when the cashier told them Tommy's characteristics, Becca immediately understood. Moreover, the clothes the cashier mentioned made Becca even more sure that Tommy was the one. She immediately looked back and looked for Tommy's whereabouts. But she didn't see him.
"Okay, thanks then," Becca said. She and Ashley then left the restaurant.
"Oh, shit! I didn't know he was here!" Becca grumbled.
Ashley laughed and patted her on the shoulder. "He's really so sweet, you know that, right?"
"Why did he have to pay our bill? I can pay for it."
"Oh, Honey ... you should know that's what men do to get you. Pay for your bill."
Becca rolled her eyes. She thought Tommy couldn't do that. So far he had never done it quietly. Because of what she knew, Tommy always did it openly.
"Don't think about it. You can ask him later. But don't be easily tempted by his actions, okay? You have to have to act like you are hard to get," Ashley advised her.
Becca responded to Ashley's words by nodding her head. She and Ashley left the restaurant because Becca had to get back to work and ask Tommy directly.
When Ashley drove Becca back to Tommy's office, she left her. Becca immediately went inside and knocked on Tommy's door.
"Why were you paying our bills?" asked Becca directly.
"I just wanted to pay."
Tommy was actually surprised by Becca's sudden question. He hadn't prepared an answer because he didn't think Becca would find out. And stupidly Tommy, he didn't tell the cashier not to tell her who paid for her.
"Nonsense answer, Tommy!" Becca said.
Tommy looked at her and stopped at Becca's unbuttoned top, revealing something beautiful from under her shirt. She didn't like Becca showing that beauty to anyone out there, except himself.
He stood up and approached Becca, then his hands began to button the top of Becca's shirt. "It's better like this than you showing yours to someone else. I don't want to."
Becca pushed Tommy's body. "What's wrong with you, Tom?" asked Becca, who suddenly felt nervous. She immediately came out of Tommy's room with her heart beating fast and it was difficult to control herself if she was in there for a long time.
To get rid of her fast-paced pounding, Becca went to the toilet. She looked at herself in the mirror while washing her face.
"This is weird. Why is he acting so aggressive all of a sudden?"
Her cheeks flushed red. After a month of breaking up and her revenge was underway, did that mean her efforts were really paying off? That Tommy really felt sorry?
