When they got out of their bases, both had made their troops separate to make their entries more impactful, to boost their morale, and to reduce the enemy's morale.

But they did not expect that the other side did exactly the same thing.

Both did not know that this hobby of doing such grand theatrics and the way they did, are both something they had been influenced by A2 when they are with him before.

If not for A2 having to hold back much of his antics before then they would've even played their own theme song as they appeared on the battlefield.

Well, the last part might be an exaggeration...

But it would not happen now, if ever, so forget about that.

Meanwhile...

A2 and the four ladies are having a good time laughing at the coincidences that kept happening.

Inwardly though, A2 had been feeling quite alarmed as the idea that came to his mind earlier got back on the surface again.

But he kept ignoring it for now as he did not want his ladies to notice something.

Then he got dazed before unconsciously manipulating the holographic device to play a piece of music to become the background music to what they were watching.

And this music just happens to be the most iconic opening theme song of the code geass anime.

A2 got startled when he heard that familiar intro that made his blood boil from excitement before and still does even now.

Even when there isn't even any anime right now.

The music was just synchronizing so well with the battle especially when the screen is focusing on either Lelouch, Suzaku, or Kallen.

Well, poor Cornelia, isn't truly one of the main cast, just one of the slightly important supporting characters.

Well, she got some screen time because all four women want to see her too.

Back to earth...

The battle between Naoto's group and Guilford's is in a stalemate as Naoto is trying to be as cautious as possible because he is at a disadvantage in numbers while Suzaku and Kallen continued their game of 'tag'.

Lelouch and Cornelia on the other hand had directly confronted each other as they both saw the distinctiveness of each other's machine which is not an exclusive machine yet had an exclusive painting design, so they both concluded that the other party is the leader!

"Zero/Cornelia!" Both shouted in their cockpits as they dashed to each other even though they aren't even connected, not even in the public channel at all.

Both brought out their SMGs and fired at each other yet did not manage to hit each other because they both swayed a little to dodge the projectiles then they both threw the emptied guns before taking out their melee weapon.

This is when they finally diverged in terms of movement because Cornelia's melee weapon is a Lance, not a spear, but a true Knights lance that is used in joust while Lelouch's weapon is a sword and a shield.

People might have forgotten but Lelouch is royal and was given a royal education before he was exiled to Area Eleven.

He was thought how to fight the traditional English Knights way.

Consisting of horseback, lance, a little bit of archery, and, the only thing he excelled a bit more together with horseback, the sword and the shield.

The sword and shield were something he was able to equate a little with chess because he could attack and defend, together with needing the right positioning instead of moving all over the place.

He had always liked preparing and counterattacking instead of plunging head-on.

This is why Lelouch's favorite piece in chess is the black piece.

Back to A2.

The four ladies found the sudden background music pleasant or just felt like this music is so much compatible with what they are watching right, they don't know, they just felt like so.

C2 had even started humming a little, and thought that this music will one of her favorite songs from now on.

She just felt a little weird at the sudden urge to flash her Code right now, which will make her forehead shine with a colorful light up in the shape of the Geass.

All these things had been noticed by A2 which just made his alarming feeling, worsen.

He felt like he is about to go mad but he can't show it right now.

On The screen, it showed the battle between Cornelia and Lelouch being equally matched.

Which made their mothers nod as they thought that it is an acceptable result, though, it is clear that Lelouch is having a hard time due to the difference in technology between the machine that they are using.

Lelouch had to put more effort into the fight while Marianne can be a bit relaxed and steady.

'Hmph! As I expected! It's only that Unknown new machine that is quite advanced in technology!

Zero and his people are still using outdated mass-produced models.

Britannia is still the best!

Of course, except Uncle A2, tsk!

He should have better technology than everyone else in the world.

He is so stingy!

But Lelouch has a very developed brain, which made him more observant than others, he almost has the same ability as A2's special ability to boost his own brain.

Although Lelouch's one is only a slight boost and it isn't truly a boost, it is more like activating his brain's full power to focus on something.

This made it possible for him to notice the slight relaxation of his opponent.

He was quite annoyed by that as he felt underestimated but he also felt lucky and directly took advantage of that!
