Sometime earlier, just before the four Gundam Meisters were completely taken down.

"I'm going down, honey." Marianne suddenly said as she got up from her seat and directly walked towards the standby room to change into her piloting uniform.

AA had not had the chance to say anything as Marianne jogged out of the Bridge.

He was not going to try to prevent Marianne from going down because of danger or something, instead, he felt like he wanted to go down himself and have a fight with Master Asia!

In just a minute or two, a notification came to the tactical operators which are asking for launching preparations.

"This is Marianne! Barbatos Gundam - Lupus Rex launching!" the excited voice of Marianne was heard on the Bridge and then she shot off towards Earth!

This Version of Barbatos Gundam did not carry any long-range weaponry because Marianne is fully expecting to have a good melee showdown with Master Asia.

Its aesthetic and design are mostly the same as the original one but there is no Ahab reactor and the special Gundam skeleton together with the Alaya Vijnana system that was the main Gundam technology in Gundam iron blooded series, and it does not need it anyway.

Its cockpit is using AA's version of the mobile trace system from the G-Gundam fighter series, which is used the same way as Master Asia's Kowloon Gundam.

This version of the mobile trace system is a combination of man-machine interfacing technology and animusphere technology, there are good and bad about this.

Because the consciousness is directly connected to the machine, it will make the pilot feel some pain as feedback whenever the machine is seriously damaged and that is quite bad for most people who cannot endure pain while the good thing is that the reaction and motion of the machine are 100% synchronized with the pilot, if AA had made a machine that can make facial expression then it would have been able to do so.

Some people might be thinking that the amount of data that the machine will give to the human brain would be too much, but that was solved by putting a small quantum computer in the cockpit and an assisting program.

The way the person pilots the machine is divided into two.

This Barbatos Gundam is in the lupus rex version, with claws in its four limbs and a tail.

It uses a solar furnace and thermonuclear fusion as its energy source, with the solar furnace being used mainly for the flying and thrust while the fusion reactor is used to power the whole body because it has a bigger burst of energy than the other. After all, Barbatos Gundam is mostly a physical mech.

With phaseshift armor, it is almost immune to many attacks, even laser weaponry, because it has two energy systems and one is dedicated to the body while the other is dedicated to the auxiliary stuff.

It uses a slightly smaller version of the Gundam star gazer's Voiture Lumiere flight system, which was the glowing light wings of Freedom Gundam for those who do not know, but its shape was a light ring in Gundam Stargazer and it is also so in the current Barbatos Gundam.

That is why some people thought that this Gundam would have looked like a God if not for its fierce body aesthetic because there is a ring of light on its back which is mostly seen in deities and Gods of myths.

This Ring of light is the manifestation of Voiture Lumiere technology which is like a solar sail made of light and it is further improved by AA by using the solar furnace which lets out GN particles that can be considered a solar wind creating more power and speed, this is How the Barbatos Gundam can cut through the atmosphere and not just using its weight because it is almost weightless when it uses the solar furnace for flight.

This is enough details and explanation, now we go back to the collision between Marianne and Master Asia.

A small shock wave together with bright light was produced when the two collided.

The hand shape of the current Barbatos Gundam is like when Killuah from Hunter X Hunter made his nails longer and his whole hand like a weapon.

While Master Asia has a knife hand too but instead of relying on the physical hand, he is using the energy blade he created in this collision.
